Would you mind sharing what your thoughts are on the possible remake of persona 2?

I have many thoughts, some good, some bad!

While I'm excited about the prospect of a remake I have my concerns due to Atlus's poor track record, and the whole concept of remakes which are very trendyyyy right now, especially considering the game is not the right fit for the current calendar and s. link system, which is typical of a modern persona.

Not to mention, I am wary of a new team's handling of a game that relies on heavy contextualizing. I noticed with the p3 remake, the game placed a lot of emphasis on gameplay over character writing--which isn't necessarily bad, I really enjoyed playing it-- but in p2's case, it could detract from the emotionally-charged story and interactions between the cast and setting?

Anyway, but the good... I won't turn down the chance to see my favorite characters in 3D, and a reimagining of the soundtrack, Sumaru... etc. There's a good chance they'll expand on side content. Not saying og p2 was perfect either, I hope they'll improve on some areas as well.

I think there's plenty of conversations to be had. I realize I sound pretentious which isn't my intention. I'm not alone in saying me and a lot of people love persona 2 so much that it's natural to have high expectations. I'm willing to give a remake a chance just like I did the same for P3R!!! Really, it's just interesting to see different concepts and ideas manifest in a new space, so that's really what I'm looking forward to, despite my reservations.

Also idek if a remake is even in the works. I know Leakers (tm) confirmed it but I take everything with a grain of salt until Atlus themselves drop the news...

opened up a sketchbook accnt for posting old art and random scribbles so I don't litter this blog m__m find my pages..........solve my riddles... if you want to know the handle here's a hint: it's the first game in the shadow hearts series and it ends with an 's' because the actual username was taken. if you dgaf you can just message me for it

Hellooooo.... I feel a little obligated to thank all the people who've stuck by me all these years (m- -m) I've been posting my silly drawings on the internet for more than two decades now, and it humbles me to know a bunch of you still like it and continue to support me, despite all the chaos that has been my digital footprint🚶‍♂️ .....

Admittedly, I don't have the drive to draw as much as I did years back and I wish I did bc art's the one thing I love doing the most. Like yes, sometimes all it takes is a grotesque little creature (enki) to show up and kick u back into gear, but the creative output just isn't the same.

Errrr, what else ... Sinoalice is OVER.... (my beloved little gacha game i was shackled to) it's depressing, and for me to acknowledge how badly I'm going to miss having it in my life is an understatement T_T Above all else, it depresses me to think I never really bothered to draw fanart for it considering I dedicated 20 mins of my day, every day for 5 years to logging in to the game to hang out with my guildmates/friends.

I don't have a lot of other interesting things to say about 2023. I'm using NY's as an excuse to change some things about my life such as POSTING MORE ART!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and being less cryptic. I wanted to talk abt my yearly recap on my personal but i figured it'd be nicer to break the radio silence here too.

alright sorry i talk so much, thank you everyone for being nice to me i adore you all. I hope 2024 brings all of you happiness and comfort.
