He told me he has very similar feelings and the feelings aren't like anything he's felt with anyone else. So, I think I'm definitely in my own head. But I also wasn't trying to pressure him into saying it, either. I told him that it's okay if he doesn't feel the same way yet, but I just wanted to be honest with him on how I felt.

I can totally understand you. I'm a caring person too. It's practically my love language... and it's absolutely understandable when you're not sure about it. If they really love you too they would understand if you explain it. You deserve to be loved like you love others ❤️

Fighting the urge to say "I love you" to my partner for the first time, because every relationship I've been in where I've said it first, they left me and/or turned out to be abusive pieces of shit.

Last week, my mamaw told me "your partner should care more about you than you do about them." And that honestly hurt me, because I'm a really caring person and I'm so used to caring for everyone else. But I see now that my kindness and care are constantly taken for granted.
