historical drama/sitcom where two gay best friends (woman and man) get lavender married--and proceed to spend the Fancy European Honeymoon their parents paid for acting as each other's wingman
Obsessed with characters who portray themselves as worse than they are. Who are lying to everyone including themselves about it. People generally assume if someone's lying about themselves they're trying to look better but sometimes they're trying to look worse. They attribute agency to where they had none, add intend to accidents, try to convince everyone that this is something they did instead of something that happened to them.
Ive said this before but swear the biggest skill to learn as an adult is how to resist high-pressure sales tactics. You do NOT have to answer questions with anything other than "Sorry I'm not interested." No matter how nice they are or no matter how many follow up questions they ask or even how agitated they get when you stand your ground. Just keep saying I'm not interested. Don't answer their questions. Don't give them an opening to try to push back on your reasons. Be a fucking brick wall of I'm not interested.
Heartbroken and alone, Jaskier ends up in an old castle, trying to escape a storm.
There, Jaskier gets possessed by the ghost of a woman who, like Jaskier, was abandoned by the love of her life.
Sometimes later, Geralt, on a contract, finds a way to the castle. Where not wanting to hurt Jaskier, Geralt must find away to get the ghost out of his bard.
First, Geralt needs to alleviate the ghost's feeling of abandonment, but he soon realizes he also needs to prove himself to Jaskier.
