A young boy who is a bomberman.

伝説のボンバーマンと称された兄、マイティに悩れ、ジェッターズの一員となる。

He was troubled by his older brother, Mighty, who was called the legendary Bomberman, and became a member of the Jetters.

明るく朗らかな性格だが、まだまだ頼りない一面も。しかし、心の奥には熱い間志を秘めている。

He has a bright and cheerful personality, but he’s quite unreliable. However, he has a passionate ambition deep in his heart.

ボンゴ

Bongo

ドドンバ星人。

An alien from Planet Dodonpa.

普段はボーっとしているように見えるが、キャラボンの匂いを感知する特殊能力がある。

He usually seems to be in a daze, but he has a special ability to sense the smell of Kyarabon.

メカに強く、宇宙船から電子レンジまで何でも直してしまう。カレーが大好きな大食演。

He’s smart with mechanics, and fixes anything from spaceships to microwave ovens. He loves curry.

do you think mighty wouldve been better or worse if he let himself make suicide jokes in front of people. like, the 'i can finally krill myself' variety of jokes.

honestly, strange as it may sound, i think that would've ultimately resulted in a better outcome for him based on sheer factor of letting on that he was having these thoughts at all?

in canon, probably the single biggest reason things got as bad as they did in the first place is that mighty essentially ceased saying or doing anything he genuinely thought or felt unless it served the front he was constantly putting on for others - externally, he lived that performance of a perfect, pleasant, all-loving hero, while internally he fermented further and further in his own loathing both for himself, knowing that he wasn't the same person as the one in his performance, and on a more base, selfish level for the necessity of that performance in the first place

because unfortunately for mighty, the same self-centeredness he feared would harm others also meant that he couldn't use the "noble sacrifice" of his performance to make up for the frustration of having to keep it up in the first place - so, in an ironic way or not, having any outlet for his genuine thoughts or feelings would significantly "deflate" the constant building pressure of the divide between internal and external, even if that outlet was

ok so it seems i was simply a deranged high schooler with bad memory got it. admittedly i think that fic i made was born from knowing how many religions and cultures punish people who committed suicide with going to hell. at that age, i was struggling with my own mental health and while im not religious, it doesnt help knowing just how many people believed that suicide itself was a sin. i guess writing that was supposed to be some kind of catharsis but given i deleted it, i wouldnt know anymore.

no i feel that though, like similar background on my end i was raised so catholic that i only saw disney's hunchback of notre dame as an ex-catholic adult because my father was furious that the movie was "anti-catholic" and forbade me or my siblings from watching it (pretty much everything we saw was heavily restricted to keep us growing up "right" until i got full access to the internet at age 11 or so - shoutout to the time i got physically hit as punishment for watching a bratz movie at my grandparents' house because cartoon network happened to be running it at the time!)

while i might have exaggerated my reaction for comedic effect, i do wholly understand the source. religion makes you do some things that seem profoundly absurd to other people just because of the sheer devotion expected towards subjects that seem, from an outside perspective, baseless; given my own use of mighty to come to terms with suicidal urges across many years of my life i can very much see how with similar use he could have brought you solace there

#so like apologies for being a bit of a dick in the first response i know i did similar as a teen
