is it worth it to read the phyrria books or should I just skip it and read spoilers?

I mean I guess that depends on how interested you are on them? Tbh I used to love this series I grew up with it but I couldn’t get through the last arc like I know the last book is out but I genuinely have felt no urge to read it or even care about what happens. I think give the first one a try and if it doesn’t float your boat then just skip

#to each their own I know some people love it #I just felt like creating a whole new world was just very not needed #when Tui has largely ignored some of the tribes (ahem ahem MUDWINGS) #also not everything has to be a world ending disaster #idk man I’ve become really tired with the way some people engage with this series on here #considering it is a kids series #like #I started reading This series when the second or third book came out #I loved it so much I bothered my local library to get all of the audiobooks for it as soon as they came out #and I started this page when I was still a teen and it was really fun!!! making memes for something you like is great!!!! #but over the years people have started to treat this series with the normal tumblr discourse and it’s made me move away from it #like I’m sure I’ll still occasionally post on here but #but for the most part I’m done!!! #anyways sorry I’ve been meaning to say this for a bit

does anyone else like coral besides me? I feel like she definitely has her flaws but her life is still pretty tragic to me. She literally kept losing all her daughters and killed one too sorta by accident. plus she lost her husband so it was really extra depressing about her daughters since they were her only female eggs left from him and they all died except for Auklet. And then she had to deal with the pressure of hiding virtually all sadness and had to keep on being queen and all the shit from Blister too. I love a tragic and depressing story tho so I’m biased lol sorry this ended up so long

Nah don’t worry dude I don’t think you’re the only one- I think coral is cool it’s just the overprotectivness gets on a lot of people’s nerves and bc she doesn’t get on perfectly with tsunami (which like. Is understandable they barely know each other and it’s tsunami). Coral is pretty cool tbh she’s definitely not the worst queen out there (WHY ARE YALL SIMPING FOR SCARLET SO MUCH SHE IS A WAR CRIMINAL????)

I refuse to believe that there are any hard cover copies of “Wings of Fire: the dragonet prophecy”

I have never walked into a bookstore and seen a hard cover version of it and I’m convinced that everyone’s copy of it is a beat up piece of shit that you refuse to replace because of pride

Ps. I’ve had this book since I was in 5th grade, I’m a sophomore in college now and I took it everywhere with me because it was my comfort object for years
