Tips on how to cleanse negative energies🍋🍚

What you need:

• 1 lemon

• Salt

•Cut the lemon in 4 parts like. It should look like this⬇️

•Then, add the salt inside the lemon and make sure it's filled. Place the lemon in a plate with salt.

• Once you have your lemon with the salt in it, put the plate under your bed. Make sure you put the plate at the same spot where your heart and chest are when you lay down in bed.

•Leave the lemon until the salt is crystallized in it. Check it to see any changes in the colour of the lemon and stuff like that.

Another tip is:

•Fill a glass container with 3 quarters of salt and add a quarter of vinegar.

Leave the glass with the ingredients in your room or any room you want to cleanse until the salt is crystallized.

IMPORTANT: Remember that you must charge these elements with your intent/purpose so think, say, visualise your intent while you prepare them.

Garden Witch Guide

Recently I made a brief post telling you all to plant your seeds for spring now, but I wanted to expand that into a little, quick guide for anyone who has never done seeds before. This is for starting seeds indoors and then transplanting them outside once you have a plant and is by no means comprehensive (I’m also assuming you have access to Walmart or its equivalent).

1. Buy seed packets. You can get cheaper seeds for $0.50/packet and more expensive seeds for $1.99. In America, vegetable seeds are covered by food stamps. It’s early February so you need to get some cold hardy vegetables: lettuce, kale, collards, broccoli, radishes, beets, cabbage, celery, cauliflower, greens, boy choy, turnips. It’s a little early yet for carrots but any Brassica type plant or leafy green will do well. Keep in mind that each seed packet comes with about a bajillion more seeds than you’ll need. 

2. Get a starter kit. I’ve seen posts like this around detailing how to start seeds in eggshells and you totally can! But I always go the easiest route, which is to buy one of these for around $5 (you can easily find them for less). They come with little nutrient/soil disks that you fill up with water and put your seeds in (the instructions are very easy). The point of these, whether you choose to get one or not, is to have a top on them that keeps moisture in so that the soil stays wet.

•🕉 Witch Tip #7 🕉•

Make a habit of performing an act of magick every day.

Magick is fueled primarily by the strength of your will and the energy of your spirit. Both of these things can grow and change, and - like a muscle - they need to be exercised in order to improve their performance.

Practicing magick daily benefits you in many ways, but perhaps the most important are 1) like meditation, it allows you to devote time out of your day to slow down and center yourself, 2) it reminds you that you are in constant control of your life, and 3) it gradually helps you learn how to control your own unique powers.

This may seem tedious, but it is certainly do-able with the right creativity. ‘Magick’ itself often gets confused for ‘ritual magick’. And while ritual magick is a much more all-encompassing experience, it is not NEARLY the only form of magick.

I personally have a hectic schedule, and I’m also borderline-compulsive about my witchcraft. I sometimes get stuck in a mindset of ‘if I don’t create a tedious ritual with a complex altar and billions of crystals and candles, my spell won’t work’. And that simply isn’t true. But because I’m in that mindset, I seldom find time to fit magick into my day. So, I’ve learned to integrate pieces of tiny magick into almost everything I do. Some simple acts of magick that don’t require much prep time are:

• if you use wards, building an energetic barrier around yourself before you get out of bed in the morning

• tidying up your altar (if you have one)

• spending time at your local cemetery and cleaning up trash from graves

• leaving out small offerings for the local spirits (like honey or water)

• watering your plants with water infused with love and growth energy (if you keep plants)

• charging a crystal with good thoughts and keeping it with you throughout the day

• (for servers, or anyone else who lives off a tipped wage) sprinkling cinnamon in your left pocket before work to attract money

• envisioning vitality while stirring your morning coffee/tea/whatever counterclockwise

• envisioning beauty (or invisibility) while doing your hair/applying makeup

• envisioning purity while washing your face/applying skin care

• purifying your aura with water in the shower

• wearing black to attract energy/attention, or wearing white to dispel it
