Like imagine, you move to this cute town, that's run by the Hero that took down the Dark Wizard, in hopes to rebuild and start up your new life! Then out of the corner of your eye, you see him. The Dark Wizard sitting by the edge of a lake, crying, while struggling to catch a fish.

Ad astra Atsushi Sakurai | You make the night sky so beautiful even if it is sad to look at it sometimes.

I thought I had shared this one here, I made it for his birthday in march, even if he's not here I wanna remember him.

I said this when I shared it on Instagram

"I remember in 2023, in a interview for PHY after being asked about flowers, you expressed your love for them, having them always around you since the early days of your career. "For a man over 50 I really like flowers" I thought that was funny, you seem to always have a sense of humour in these interviews.

You said that you had lilies and callas in your room. You were asked about your favourite and you said "baby's-breath" so I included them here.

You were also asked in that moment about death, you mentioned that the flowers at your mother's grave were quite colourful and that when your time comes you'd love to get a flamboyant bouquet not just chrysanthemums. So I decided to honour that.

Kurumi-chan is also there, but I don't want to over-analise it."

Something the Hannibal television show does phenomenally, that the books and movies don’t really do at all, is showcase how well he actually blends in.

In the Thomas Harris works, every scene that Doctor Lecter is in manages to make it very clear that he’s dangerous, and everyone else is basically Damocles without being aware of the blade. He’s unsettling even when he’s charming, and the audience is always aware that he is the lion in the room. We can see the swords dangling by the hair over every other character.

But in the show, Hannibal is just a guy, maybe pretentious and nerdy, but charming and kind for the most part. We are taken in with him, just like the other characters. Then, when he does lash out, moving like the predator he is, we’re left absolutely shook, almost ashamed that for a moment we forgot who he is. In the next scene, he’s as soft and charming as ever, and the deception begins again. We slowly fall under the spell again, because he’s just that good. We experience what the characters do, even though we’re granted the behind the scenes knowledge that he’s the villain of the story.
