Sabbac is a great choice! I agree he is rarely used to his full potential as a villain and I would love to see the sorts of stories that would come from embracing the demonic mob boss angle.

Ibac's pretty low on my list as well because narratively Sabbac does similar things but so much better (and his source of power is so much more interesting in my opinion). Like Ibac had potential as a concept but he generally hasn't been used in a way that makes him that intriguing to me.

Who is your favorite Shazam/Captain Marvel villain and who is your least favorite?

It's basic I know, but I think my favorite villain is Dr Sivana. Like he's the quintessential Shazam villain, the first one everyone thinks of, and he's got range as a villain! He's a goofy mad scientist in most versions, but sometimes he is genuinely terrifying. And his relationship with his family members makes him a lot more interesting and dynamic than most Shazam villains.

(As a side note I'm also a big fan of Black Adam and his parallels with Cap but he's not been squarely in villain territory for a long time)

And my least favorite would have to be Captain Nazi. I love watching him get beat up by the Marvels, but he's just not that interesting to me. And he's a nazi so...bottom of the list.

Where is Fawcett City supposed to be exactly?

Hi anon!

So like most things in comics, the answer depends on the continuity!

The most common assumed location for Fawcett City is in the Midwest in either Indiana, Minnesota, or Wisconsin. But it has never been explicitly confirmed.

However in current comic continuity Fawcett is a suburb of Philadelphia, so it would be in Pennsylvania.

When I write about it, I typically go with an ambiguous midwest setting without 100% committing to a specific location because the relative location is more important than the specific location.

Do you think Captain Marvel would introduce Mary Marvel and Freddy (boy needs a better name than CM3, I swear) to the Justice League? Or would they meet them on their own eventually? Slow rumors that cap has sidekicks/is a dad until he stops and tells them about them?

Hi anon!

I think that in the immediate aftermath Mary and Freddy getting their powers, it kind of slipped Cap's mind to tell the Justice League about them. After all, finding your long lost twin sister and bringing your best friend back from the brink of death are both very intense events, and teaching them to use their powers takes up a lot of his attention.

I think he doesn't even realize that the JL don't know about Mary and Freddy until someone pulls up a news story/footage of the Marvels and asks him about it directly. And then Cap would be so excited to introduce them (because you know how much he loves letting everyone know how amazing they are). Though I imagine he insists they aren't his sidekicks.

An alternate version would be he mentions them casually in conversation. Like "Mary and I have been volunteer downtown" or "I've been teaching Jr how to do xyz" and whoever he's talking to is reeling. Who's Mary? And Jr? And that would certainly lead to some rumors.

Either way, Cap would be ecstatic to introduce Mary and Freddy to the JL once someone gives him the idea. Though after introductions, people are perhaps even more confused as to how they are related.

Silly caller (idea for a future work)

(Billy is shown to host a talkshow on his radio broadcasts with his guest, and his experience living in a haunted mansion, a mischievous ghost can be seen to the readers but not to Billy and His guest)

Mr spook: "and that's how it is, whenever you see a house sold very cheap, it's one of the signs of it being haunted. "

Billy on his radio: "Alright folks, we're going over to the QnA section live on the phone, Call this following number to ask our special guest a question"

(Billy gives out the number on live)

(The telephone rings, the ghost purposely possesed the telephone line and speak himself)

Billy:"alright, so who's our lucky inquirer?"

Ghost: "Hey um, delivery service??? May I have a double cheeseburger?"

Billy:"...sir, this is not wendys, you're on live radio-"

(Call gets abruptly ended by Billy)

(Telephone rings again)

Ghost: "you didn't let me finished! Now I want a double cheeseburger with a side of extra large fries-"

Billy getting slightly angrier: "Sir for the last time! this is not a wendy's!!"

mr Spook: "Bah! The same thing happened to me in my house last time! Your phone is haunted!"

Billy:*sighs* "Alright folks, while we take care of that problem, on to the commercial break with our associates with Mechanix Illustrated!"

Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1

The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.

So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.

So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.

Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.

And the probe is working again.

From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.

Okay thinking with my mind, my heart, and my soul. I’m trying my best to try and find character foils for all 4 of the Vasquez siblings that I’m writing, but it is tricky. Normally I only write foils for the main 2 characters, in this case Billy and Freddy. But, I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could get all 4 of them to work, so that way they all bounce off of each other well and have very distinctive personalities.

If you guys want me to share more of my writing slides instead of just my art, let me know I have quite a few things I could post.
