Magic in the Moonlight - A Saratine/Harry Potter AU

Summary: Tine accidentally ends up with Sarawat, the anti-social but popular Griffyndor Seeker, as his Potions Partner. They venture into the Forbidden Forest together to retrieve some ingredients for a potion and find something more than magic under the moonlight.

Word count: 4300 (I know. I’m sorry)

It was the first day of official classes and Tine was late for Potions, as per usual, and he hoped that Fong had saved him a spot so that they could be partners for the term. He sped into the classroom at full tilt and the rest of the class looked back at him like he was completely insane.

“Tine Aekaranwong. How lovely of you to show your face.” The Professor addressed him dryly. “Please find a seat so that I can continue on with the lesson.”

Tine searched for Fong and saw that Ohm was sitting next to him. Fong gave him an apologetic look and Tine made a mental note to never trust Fong with something as important as seat saving. He scanned the rest of the classroom and saw only one open chair available next to the very last person he wanted to sit with: Sarawat.

lets talk about how from 2gether to Still2gether we always see Sarawat as the one going through lengths to express his feelings for Tine, and of course we know Tine starts to like him back & told him as much on the trip, and in this series we get to see domestic sarawatine being cute boyfriends that have been together for a year but i think it was really important how Sarawat said in his video to Tine that they don’t really talk about their feelings.

like i said, ofc we know they care deeply for each other & Sarawat means a lot to Tine but I think this ep was a great way to show us just how much Tine really genuinely loves Sarawat. Tine’s never had a relationship this long, and has never been loved and cared for the way Sarawat has been doing for him and it isnt until Tine has to be without Sarawat for two weeks that he realize how much his life and his heart is completely entangled with Sarawat’s.

bc sure Tine can joke and say “miss you? who’s gonna miss you?” but then actually being without Sarawat’s constant presence in Tine’s life daily makes him (and us) realize how much Tine adores Sarawat, down to the little things like reaching out for him the minute he wakes up. They’re only seperated for two weeks but Tine is making promises of letting Wat do anything he wants to him or their aparetment as long as he can have him back.

Tldr; Tine loves and adores Sarawat as much as Sarawat loves and adores Tine, and yes i’m crying

Tine being demanding and spoiled since he first met Sarawat. No wonder he fell apart when he left.

- He demands Sarawat be his fake boyfriend though Sarawat gets nothing out of it.

-"Buy me snacks! Take care of me!"

- He asks Sarawat, one of the best musicians in music club, to be his video partner though he only knows one chord

-"Play 'Everything' for me" or I won't keep helping you make your bed

-Sarawat has to offer to play Everything so he'll look after his brother.

-He demands Sarawat's guitar then keeps yappering away in his room so he can't tune it.

- He demands Sarawat play 'Close' for him when they aren't even friends exactly yet XD

-He demands Sarawat's guitar pic because his fingers hurt.

- "If you bring me snacks you can squeeze my boobs" XD but doesn't let Sarawat follow through, although he's super proud that someone did something like that for him (not something he got in previous relationships, even if it's fake) and apologizes to Sarawat for calling him names XD

- He asks Sarawat to let the whole school know they're fake dating

- He could get his own jacket or move or something in the library when it's cold but waits for Sarawat to notice he's shivering because at this point he's already used to Sarawat doing things for him

Also* Then he tries to play that song for Sarawat, the one thing he finally gets to do in return for him and completely fails at it 😭😭😭 is scared of ruining their relationship but destroying a whack shrine in the woods so goes out at night to apologize to the spirits cause Sarawat means so much to him now 😭😭 He's scared Wat wants to leave him for his first love because Tine doesn't feel like he's good enough for Sarawat and everything he's received from Sarawat so he's nervous and suspicious and becomes his own worst enemy like we saw when he thought Sarawat liked Earn, he thought she would suit Sarawat more than he did because she plays music and can understand him that way, could be better for him. His literal words were "You can find the perfect one for you". 😭🤧

I bet he thought pouting would make Sarawat stay, but he didn't 😭🤧 He still went on the club trip. Tine is so cute. He got used to Sarawat giving him everything he asked for and always being with him and taking care of him. Some people laugh that he cried over him being gone only a week, but if you look back on the past eps, you can see why he did. Little drama queen.
