he looked down at the cotton candy that was on the ground next to them. "oh shit, sorry leyla." he had meant to surprise her, but it had gone wrong and the dragon silently cursed himself for it. lifting his dark gaze to meet with hers though, he forgot about it as fast as it took for her arms to wrap around his neck. his hands found their way around her waist as he supported her, his thumb smoothing over the fabric of her top. sebastián laughed, his breath ghosting over her hair. "you found me. i almost didn't come, you know, but i remembered you'd be here and the last carnival we went to and knew i had to come."

She was happier than usual, which if you knew her seemed nearly impossible, but even still the dragon had been antsy to find her best friend or even any member of his family. Dark irises were scanning the crowd as digits plucked at the candy floss within her grasp, humming in content at the cotton sugar melted in her mouth before someone bumped into her from behind, the delectable sugar falling from her digits and a pout formed against her lips before she eventually turned to find who had cost her her sweets only to find the one person she had been looking for and a smile immediately formed against her features and she practically leapt into his frame, arms wrapping around his neck. "Sebastían," Leyla greeted excitedly. "I've been looking everywhere for you."

"loosen up a little too, and yes, i'd die to see you do exactly what i just did."
