It’s hilarious how much of a chance Xavier does not have. He has a chance the way Jacob had a chance. He had a chance the way Gale had a chance. There was literally no chance. The girl was never interested. She was never going to choose him. He’s just some guy with a crush who the narrative is torturing. And it’s so much fun to torture Xavier. He makes it too easy.
