"heh, that's the spirit." he smiled and took a deep breath of sereitei's air as they headed out of his quarters. iron could still be smelled in the air. people were still recovering from the mess the war caused. people earned time off, many fought heroically and many lost their lives. he had his fun. zaraki couldn't call this place his home without the kid. even now as he thought, he would be all alone again, even if he still had this shrimp yelling into his ear. "i'm sure ikkaku will do just fine." zaraki scoffs with a smirk before a finger pressing against his lips as he stewed. "reminds me of that zanpukto spirit that tried to free his master years ago, I bet he'll have an answer and if he doesn't, then I'll cut through him for an answer." his clogs clicking against the steps. out of all people, zaraki was far from a thinker, but it had him thinking how he could even get in contact before his eyes lurked over to yachiru. "you wouldn't happen to know how to get in contact with muramasa, would you?"

He didn't know… She wished he didn't find out so she could continue watching him have fun… but that war hurt everyone, and it was for the best she went back… give him the power when he needed it the most. Instead of being his little cheerleader on the sideline. It didn't bother her too much, she could still watch, her and Nozarashi both.

"Oh him!? He'd never get the better of me!" Though… she had been turning into cookies and that wasn't the greatest feeling. "Kenny, I'm always here!" There was a way to make her visible to the others again… there was another Kenpachi who's Zanpakuto spirit was always visible. Though from what she remembered, that was that guy's bankai too.

Her shoulders slumped, this… wasn't what she really wanted in the end. But this was how it had to be… for now. "I'm sure there's a way and you of all people can find it, Kenny! I believe in you!" There was a cheerful tone in her voice, wanting him to find the way to get her free. The young girl wished she had a hint or some idea of where to direct him.

arthur fleck: the new trailer for the movie this year really did relight the flame within me to eventually get some interactions for him again

zaraki kenpachi: ever since late last year, i've been obsessed with bleach and him as a character. big strong guy with an inclination to fight the strongest guy in the room, win or lose.

jeon hyekyung: shes honestly been such a delight to write ever since i made her. snarky, blunt, and fun

how long has it been since they've known each other? how long since she was taken away from him? he lost count. it was all too much thinking for him. too much time spent wondering what he could've done differently in the past to prevent it from ever happening. zaraki glared over at yachiru when she tugged at his sleeve. "how long were you waiting to tell me? instead, you left and scared me to think some punk got the better of you. well, i've had my fun. i need you back to the way things were." there was no point in hiding his intentions. "i don't like this feeling anymore. if i had known, i wouldn't have sealed you back to the sword." even if it would've cost his life. but she saved him and he felt the need to repay it on his own behalf. without her, there was no true place to call home. everything around him now became a reminder of how things used to be.

in truth, he only truly accepted the invitation to join as a captain because of her. he wanted a place she could call home, something he never had. a place to not worry about, but he knew at a certain point he didn't need to worry, she wasn't the one needing protection, but others around her. his hand lifted to hold her shoulder before picking her up to let her sit on his shoulder. "I'll find a way to free you." zaraki looked over his shoulder. "whatever it takes. i don't need anyone, except you."

"Aw now that's not the Kenny I know!" A bright smile was on the face of the young one as she sat there looking up at him. "I've always been watching you, and you've been watching me!" Her hand reached forward and started to tug on his sleeve, "and the Kenny I know wouldn't feel like this! Of course, you belong here! Stop being silly!"

open to: any (35+) connection: any plot: i don't have his bio up (I'm lazy) but andreas is going through a bit of a mid-life crisis after losing his son and he's looking for ways to escape from the pain instead of reconciling with it. maybe along the way, he finds someone, that he can bond, over losing someone

was socializing supposed to even make him happy? make him forget a pain he wished was never brought upon him? people drink their sorrows away, but no matter how much he smiled. andreas still felt it. a labor of love that clung to his heart tightly, but he tried his hardest to keep a smile with them. a smile that was filled with melancholy. even with the music, in the club, hammering through the walls. it felt quiet away from the crowd. "I'm so out of place here," he exclaims with a weak laugh. "i don't know what I'm even doing anymore," his eyes swelled and it wasn't from the heavy smoke that was inside the club, like some ozone layer within these walls. "but I'm here."
