He said he was going on a trip to Brazil for his Red Cross work. He said that it wouldn't take that long. He said that he would be sure to come back safe.

Well, Apollo doesn't believe him. Or, Jeremy doesn't. They have been following Ethan's trail for 3 days now. Ethan didn't go to Brazil. He went to a planet called Gloris, home to 4 different alien races, each resembling a zone of deepness in Earth's ocean (or that's how Yusuke has been catalouging it). The atmosphere is so thick that it's liquid, but it's also breathable and weightless somehow. They've been swimming/walking along this random straying path between underwater-tornado weather phenomena. They could definitely feel two different temperatures of "air" as they came to a crossroads.

A blobfish-like humanoid merperson was swimming towards them, calmly following the pathway, thus staying safe as Apollo had found out. They swam very slowly, more so allowing the current to pull them. Apollo looked to the left to see other creatures, some off the path, only one other on it. The creature on the path looked to be carrying a book, so Apollo walked towards it. Hopefully it understood him.

"Excuse me?" Apollo said through the liquid. It was difficult, but as a vocal genius, such was an easy feat. He swam towards the book creature, noticing that they, too, were wearing glasses. Long thick burgundy hair-like fins extended around them, mostly sprouting from the top of their head, much like a human. Apollo thinks that maybe it's because there is no need to move fast here that an accessory like hair is allowed. They had tied their own pastel purple hair up to keep hydrodynamic.

Yusuke takes note of the creature's very long and strong looking lower half. This was definitely a predator who's top half was a lure. They must tread carefully.

The creature looks up with a very humanoid face and smiles, lowering it's book. "Hello. Are you a friend of Elder Thomas?"

He's been here.

"Yes, his boyfriend, actually." Rex says confidently and the rest chastize him internally.

The creature looks surprised before chuckling. "He said to be expecting you. Come with me." It offers a hand, it's tail flicking behind it to bring it closer, slowly, creepingly.

Kayanari snaps into action and laughs loudly, which startles the creature. "Where are your manners? What is your name and state your purpose."

It blinks a few times before laughing nervously. "Of course. Where are my manners... My name is Glugnkrlik, which I'm sure is hard for you to pronounce. So you may call me-"

"Glugnkrlik. Glug n kr lik. Glugnkrlik. It's beautiful! To me, that is, because it's foreign. I'm sure my names will bore you."

"Oh, I... Wow, you said it..." They chuckle, before sighing. "My name is... Gloog... And Elder Thomas is... also my boyfriend... So... This is awkward..."

"NO no! I'm perfectly chill with it!" Rex laughs nervously because Gloog is really cute... "Um, actually, I also find you attractive. Which is more so meant as a compliment than a pick up line." Yusuke clears their throat and looks away, straightening their clothes. "Your purpose?" Kayanari repeats.

"Ye-Yes. I am taking you to your next destination. He said you may get confused at the crossroads." Gloog giggles at their reaction.

They frown deeply which just ends up looking cute on their face and they know it. "That bastard... He knows how confuzzled I get." They squint their eyes. "I despise him thoroughly at times."

Gloog can't help but laugh, not quite understanding why he felt comfortable enough to laugh. "You are... also very attractive... but where are your manners, hm?" He nudges their elbow with his as they move to walk beside them on the right path.

"Oh! Of course. My name is Apollo Rex Jeremy and I am following Ethan Elder Thomas's trail because I thought it would be fun." They smile at Gloog and he gets a look of understanding fear.

He doesn't know why he feels uneasy. Perhaps it's their carefree nature? It feels carefree yet calculating. How can you be that at the same time? Gloog is beginning to wonder what exactly it was Elder Thomas wanted him to do with this creature. "You... are quite interesting. No wonder Elder Thomas talks about you more than his other consorts."

Jeremy perks up. "R-Really? He does? Wh-what does he say about me?" He tears up and Geoffrey threatens to come out before Rex steps in. "Is he still complaining about New Years Eve?" He smirks audaciously.

Gloog chuckles and calls over the tiny herd of Dumbo Octopus looking creatures. One of them lands on Gloog's head, to which everyone giggled. "Well, I haven't heard about New Years Eve, But I certainly heard about Hallows Eve."

The outrage expressed by them was so funny, Gloog couldn't help but laugh at it. "I CAN'T BELIEVE HE TOLD YOU THAT ONE! Oh my gosh! He can be such a little trickster, you know?" Apollo chuckled out the frustration, his expression becoming solemn. "I hope he's ok..."

Gloog hummed. "Elder Thomas is a very competent and strong warrior. He deals well against the monsters in this land. I hear that you have very strong psychic abilities."

Apollo blushes and looks away. "I... They're not that strong... Definitely not as strong as his. I'm an expert novice. I'm really good at a little bit of everything. So I'll never be a master, but I'll be a really great assistant!"

Gloog looks confused, guiding them past more forks in the road and towards less tornados. "That's so... sad to hear. You can be whatever you want to be, you know."

"STOP. I don't want to hear that talk. I'll show you a trick of mine instead, ok?" Geoffrey halts the conversation in it's place before Jeremy picks it back up.

Gloog looks startled, but nods.

Jeremy concentrates, lifting a hand up, murmuring something under his breath before his eyes open wide, glowing with a deep blue as lights dance before them like the Aurora Borealis. When he lowers his hand and inhales deeply, the flow fades along with the light show and he laughs heartily. "I haven't done magic in a while. That was nice."

Gloog hums in appreciation, leaning against them with hearts in his eyes. "It was nice, yes." He sighs happily as they continue their journey, together.
