Today in "Yander looking too much into the Wikipedia and deciding to randomly add sims into families trees, we have:

Suzanne Pleasant

"She is the "Have a Nice Day" club committee's Executive Secretary, and is described as an unflagging optimist who searches for the good in any situation. She has not remarried."

I'll take a guess and say that Mary Sue is a reference for this character from SimCity 3000, as they not only share a name, Sue being another form for Suzanne, they also are into "Politics" in some capacity, and also Suzanne is either a divorce or a widow, and we all know where Mary Sue's story is heading up.

Too many coincidence for this being just a causality, that's all i'm saying.

But going back to where to insert this character in the family tree, i had a problem, the bio suggest her to either be divorced or widow, but when you look into the Pleasant Family tree, there aren't many options:

Either she is Jeff or Less Pleasant's ex wife. Between the two i'm leading more toward Jeff, that would make Diana his Second wife... ? But I don't like this idea at all.

So what other option there is?

Well, i don't know many divorced women who would keep their ex husband's name, so maybe Pleasant could be her Maiden's name.

So maybe she is Jeff's sister? I don't think she could be Les' sister, but that's also a possibility, i just like more the idea of Aunt Suzanne being the one introducing the very polite girl who works at the mayor's office to her nephew Daniel.

I must admit, I don't play a historical game (unless Sims 2's default setting of 2000s-ish counts as 'historical' now), but when I see your historical cc I'm like

"Hey do you guys wanna get into historical re-enactment" to my sims

In all seriousness, I'm happy my Historical CC has that effect, it certainly does affect me in the same way, that's how i have several download folders for different periods... that i rarely play because time. But, maybe you could set up a Lot as a Renaissance Fair kind of thing? You could have a sim own the lot, then set the uniform to the clothing the period you want it to be, and if you want you can have your sims visit the lot in costume?

I have been toying for the longest time with this idea for Veronaville.

This may be a hot take...

...but I don't believe Angela really did anything wrong ): Like I fully understand Lilith's resentment, I don't get the Angela-hate

they were both just children and they lived in a situation where attention was a resource that could run out, and in a situation like that, a child is going to take all the attention they can get, even if it means taking it from their sibling and that's on the parents for pitting their children against each other, like I'm struggling to understand why we are blaming Angela for that ;3;

Angela didn't choose to be favored by their parents, and as I see it, she wasn't the 'good' twin, she was the 'responsible' twin

Think about it, like Angela still had to learn so much in her childhood while Lilith didn't; what I'm hearing is due to the parents paying little to no attention to Lilith, it meant she had more freedom than Angela

Lilith got to dress how she wanted, date who she wanted, she got to buy expensive things for her room, she even snuck out and didn't get into trouble for it (note that Lilith has a memory of getting caught sneaking out, but not by her parents, but by Gordon King), while Angela has hardly any memories at all besides what she learned

I think people tend to forget that Lilith and Angela both grew up in the same house, with the same dysfunctional parents and they had to listen to the same fights, just because Angela turned her cheek and looked the other way with a smile, while Lilith would sit down and feel sorry for herself, doesn't mean either of them were better than the other

these are just two separate ways of coping with the same situation

I will say, I do adore that in the sims 4 they move out and go to university together, just the two of them, and they are finally realizing that they have common ground, finally bonding and taking baby-steps towards healing their relation

I can confirm that you just bond in a different way with your sibling when your parents aren't around, and it took moving out for them to realize that ;0;

I normally don't do this, but please do not download this CC pack. It not only has some of my default hairs which I explicitly asked people not to reupload, but entire 4t2 packs, clothes, mods and what look like bodyshop installations.

I've seen this before but not at this magnitude. I don't know which version of the hair defaults they nabbed, what mods they loaded...

Trying not to be a hater, but with no credit and potentially harmful concoctions of cc, I'd recommend to find the original sources which was predominantly items on LordCrumps.com, @deedee-sims, @mdpthatsme, @tvickiesims, @applewatersugar, @rascalcurious, etc

When I was making the Sims 4 Regency makeovers I was bothered of the fact that I had only five-ish hairstyles to put on my female Sims.

Now that I'm on the Sims 2, every hair I had on my folder wasn't "Regency enough" and found myself wishing for the Sims 4 hairs to be converted...

4t2 @historicalsimslife's Matron Dress

The moment i put it on Isabella Monty, i knew i needed this dress for all my sims 2 matrons (specially her), so here we're now. The dress comes in all the original 20 colours, a swatch is included with the download. The dress comes for Adults and is enabled for Elders and is categorised as Everyday, Formal and Maternity.

I also converted the Sims 4 Base Game EF 15 Fabric Flat using the textures by @dancemachinetrait from their Pemberly Collection, specifically the Jane version, i just adjusted the colours to match the dresses a bit better.

⚠️ This is my first 4t2 conversion, and even when i played around with the mesh in my game and didn't saw anything concerning, if you notice something, please let me know.
