Well it's unfittin' that on such a lovely day we've gotta share such an unpleasant gal... mean as a snake, Ms. Dirthowl is. She's got her little heart set on bein' the meanest, nastiest, fiercest warrior in the whole of the clan, which ain't servin' her too well, on account of her just barely bein' out of her apprentice years. If we can even call 'em that, 'course, 'cause nobody could rightly hold onto her as an apprentice for more than a day or two--that temper of hers is worse than a hornet sting. S'hard to say where this little lady got to be so unpleasant, but maybe it's got somethin' to do with her pa bein' Rattlestar. Nobody quite knows for sure, but the whole durn clan can agree on one thing--this cowpoke is a right pain in the behind!

Don't mistake her unseein' eyes for weakness, she'll smack a rattler' down faster'n you can spit a hiss! Despite her snappy fightin' nature, she's a lover at heart--and has the butterflies somethin' awful for a certain deputy...

She's a sweetheart, true'n simple, and has got some of the softest fur to match her soft heart! She'll never think twice about helpin' her clan!

Well boy howdy, today we get to share us an elder! Though many folks around here don't consider ol' Moonshine to be much of an elder at all... Oh sure, all she does is meander 'round camp, tellin' gossip and spreadin' rumors, but this gal's got a sorta spryness 'bout her that makes it almost seem like she ain't left her younger years behind. Word 'round the prairies is she used to be a mate of Rattlestar's... or maybe it was an affair... or maybe just a kithood crush... s'hard to tell in these parts, there's some tall tales floatin' 'round. Anyhows, she does seem to spend a lot of time with him, though it's more givin' him grief than anythin'.

He sure is a mighty fella, earnin' his warrior name from grapplin' with one'a them mighty Longhorn's heself! Despite his sturdy n'brick-like nature, he's got a few braincells left fer love, an'he uses them all on his dear mate, Ironside! They may or may not have a few kits together too...

Well now I reckon it's about high time I get my first post in.

Y'all put yer hands together fer Barnheart! Barnbaby, Barnsweetums if y'will. The baby sister to our deputy Roosterfoot, she's a lil goofball through and through. Managin to steal an extra braincell from her brother, Barnheart may not be th'smartest whisker in tha bunch but she is at least smarter than her brother.

But unlike her brother, Barnheart is tiny. Small as a new 'paw, but just made a warrior. She's small and chubby, and will bowl yew over at the drop of a hat.

But true as her name she's a sweetheart to her core. Loves the kits and will protect them fiercely. And constantly attached at the hip with her brother, the two are constantly seen goofin off together. Good luck gettin anythin done on a patrol with the two of 'em.

Do you have signs for warriors/queens/apprentices/ etc?

Well I'm right sorry pardner but we're all a lil' stupid, an' most of us are new ta this whole fanclan blog thing... what is it yer meanin' by signs? We got refs for all our good cats that we're slowly workin' our way on through sharin', and usually we'll just try ta say outright when som'n's a queen or a 'prentice. We also got a big ol' family tree drawn up, and a mentor/apprentice tree in the workin's, but we're waitin' til we introduce everyone 'afore sharin' any o' them!

Here's Miss Ironside - pretty as'a picture n' feisty as fire! Most o' her scars are covered by her enormous coat, so you betcha' horses she's leavin' a bit of herself everywhere she goes.

Her jaw ain't just for snarky comments - she's got some real stealth n' hunting skills on her belt! Almos' always finds some way t' find and get some prey durin' a hunt. Even with her sass, her mate Longhorn loves her to death, and they have two lil' kiddos together - Dustkit an' Songkit!

Here's ol' Boneclaw! He's got a real stern temper compared t' his brother Deadeye, but that don't make the feller any less approachable compared t' his fellow cats. Boneclaw's got a record of keepin' his clanmates in line, but trust when I say he's got a soft spot for the younger kiddos!

You might not believe me, but he had a real love for adventurin' as a youngin' - but I betcha his tales ain't as excitin' as his brother's. Those two have a real inseparable bond, 'specially after, well, an incident in the family... But I'm gittin' off track.

WellI reckon it's my turn t' share a cat! This here is Deadeye, a senior warrior n' teller of tall tales! The story on how he hurt his eye changes just 'bout every time he tells it, either it got poked by a coyote or a hawk grabbed 'im or-

But I'm gettin' off on a rabbit trail, Deadeye is one of the most reliable cats in this here good Clan. Despite some tragedy 'n his past, he's got a right jolly attitude!

His eye scares the kits sometimes though...

Well howdy! Looks like it’s my turn to get on with the sharin’ of cats, so if y’all don’t mind, please welcome Wheatgrass, the medicine cat apprentice! She’s a smart one, this calico, an’ she’s willin’ to do whatever it takes to do a good job an’ make sure Tumbleweed approves of it! While she’s a little more of the squeamish type, she’s workin’ thru it! She wants to be able to do everythin’ that Tumbleweed can, and really admires him for’t. She’s got a brain for herbs and remedies to all yer common coughs n’ colds, and although she’s rather a shy one, she won’t back down from a challenge! She does have a sticky habit of wantin’ to prove herself somethin’ terrible, on account of bein’ the middle child to two other sisters, (who y’all will meet in time), and that she wants to live up to her pa’s legacy now that he’s up in Starclan. Luckily, Tumbleweed treats her alright ‘nough, though she thinks he might do well to be a bit smoother ‘round the edges. -🦋
