okay ALSO i’ve seen some posts like “why hasn’t Whiskey come out to bitty of all people???” but like?? sometimes you aren’t ready to come out to anyone at all? and maybe whiskey is avoiding bitty because he’s afraid bitty’s gaydar will catch into him and he doesn’t want to be confronted about his sexuality? maybe the poor guy just isn’t ready to talk about it yet? maybe he’s still figuring it out for himself? maybe he wants to play in the nhl which is likely given his stats and um yeah ONE nhl player coming out doesn’t erase all the rampant and deeply engrained homophobia that is both EMOTIONALLY DEVASTING and can be DEVASTATING TO YOUR CAREER TOO. also who knows how much internalized homophobia whiskey has??? maybe he’s just barely admitted to himself that he’s gay and he’s nowhere near ready to admit it to others?? maybe he’s dealing with the whole latino/Christian complications and chad is the first other queer Christian he found and felt safe with?? like there’s so many reasons whiskey may not have come out to bitty or to anyone and I don’t want to see anyone saying that he should have or that he has to. Give the guy some space
