I hate asking for help. I hate asking for money. I hate asking for people to give me handouts. I’ve always been self sufficient and pushed my pay through the hard times but I’m officially at a total loss.

Two weeks ago a deer ran out in front of my car and my car has now been deemed totaled. I live in New Jersey and work in Philadelphia and commute 30 miles to and 30 miles from 5 days a week. I was saving money to move to the city and get a place of my own and that money was slowly eaten away by gas, tolls and, parking.

Now with no car, I’m sleeping in the spare bedroom of a friends apartment with an expiration date of March 1st. I’m in desperate need of help raising money to get enough for a first, last and, security deposit for my own apartment so that I can make it to work, and be able to move past this. My mother and family don’t have the means to help me otherwise I’d not have created this godfund me and would be indebted to them instead for sure.

Any little bit whether a donation or, even just a reblog, would be appreciated and so helpful. I’m running out of time before I’m essentially homeless and my anxiety is through the roof.

There’s a bigger issue at hand. We are much more than just LGBT. We are women. We are African American. We are Muslim. We are Hispanic. We are Jewish. We are so many different types of people wrapped into one community and what we give is more than we get in return. What we strive for is more simple than anything, what we ask is to be treated like equals, to be treated like people of purpose, of reason. To be treated like human beings.
