Animation Synthesis
What software did you choose and why?
For my animation I chose to use Photoshop as I found it was the easiest alternative for what I would like to accomplish for my repetitive animation.聽It was the right choice in order to create my animation but it was a very time consuming software.
What was your animation idea based on repetition? How did you formulate it and prepare? How well did you execute it?
My animation for repetition was a circus theme and it had many repetitive features such as the juggling balls continuously going in a circle, the trapezes continuously going up and down and the lion going from one side of the screen to the other repetitively. I started to formulate and prepare my animation by looking at images that would fit my animation idea. I think I got the right images but overall my animation could have been executed better.
Describe the creative process of creating the animation. What worked, what didn鈥檛? How did you overcome issues?
My creative process was just finding images that worked well together and tried to execute it well together. I originally had bowling balls for the clown to juggle but that wasn鈥檛 working as it was hard to rotate them accurately so I changed from bowling pins to balls. I think they worked much better. I overcome issues by thinking of another alternative to fit what I was trying to do.
What do you think you personally did well?
I think I would of done much better but am proud of what I accomplished as I had rarely used photoshop and premier pro before.
What could you have improved?
I could have improved my time management and my technique as I feel like if I used my time more wisely in class and at home I would have executed it much better.
On a scale from 1-10 how complex is your animation? Why?
On a scale from 1-10 my animation complexity is a 6 as it wasn鈥檛 a very difficult animation to do.
Are you proud of the work you have produced? Explain why?
I am and aren鈥檛 proud of my work as I think that I could have executed it much better and done a much better job of my animation.

Animation Change
I have decided to change my animation slightly by changing the bowling pins to balls as I found it quite difficult to move the pins around.

Inspiration and Trails
The reason I chose to do this theme for my animation, is because it is a very fun theme and it fit鈥檚 with the things I would like to create which fits with the concept of repetition.

What sounds will be played during the animation?
During the animation, circus music will be played. This use of sound is used to immerse the audience and make the circus animation I created feel more realistic to the viewer. This will be the only sound played throughout my animation as it is the best fitted sound for throughout.

What/ How is going to happen?
My idea for my animation is set in a circus theme. There is a clown at the front and centre of my animation juggling 3 coloured bowling pins in a continuous circle. There is also a man in the background walking a lion from the left side of the page to the right side which will continuously repeat. There will be a sign in the background with the word circus and it will continuously flash on and off. There will also be circus music in the animation to fit the theme/ feel.聽
