Ben Ezra Synagogue, Cairo, Egypt. Though the modern building was completed in 1892, the Jewish community at Ben Ezra most likely predated Islam. Ben Ezra is famous for the Cairo Genizah, a collection of Jewish manuscripts spanning centuries.
