STARVING. to match the piece about sight, i felt like doing another based on touch. for someone scarred and always on her guard, i imagine it’s a very significant thing, and who better than azu to be entrusted with it…

 the proportions are really wonky, but part of the vibe is there, at least. i’m happy with this one because after adding some flat color i was like fuck it i wanna scribble!! and i did the rendering only in scribbles and it looks really charming :DD ♥

Grizzop and Wilde in the colour palette Poetic Justification? ✨

 RQG request #32! i was going to go with something silly at first, but the palette was very moody and i was in the mood for wash, so... i got thinking about how the last time wilde ever saw grizzop was when he was in the anti-magic cell in damascus. i wonder if he thought about that in the future, if he regretted it, if grizzop got to realize they wouldn’t see each other again before he died. i would have liked more screentime for that, but it’s cool to just imagine.

 also, i forgot halfway through that this was supposed to have a palette attached to it so i panicked and kind of started throwing colors until it worked and it kind of does? there were also just some minor fixes to the wilde on the bottom, the messiness of the original worked kind fo well with the splotchy colors.

 thank you for this request, it made me emo. hope it does the same for you 😈🤪

 HELLO!!! we got together with my BELOVEDS @evieebun125 @stuffandsuchrqg & @angryducktimemachine to make a 4-way collab and this is it!! i’d wanted to be part of one since they became a thing, so i’m both so thankful and moved that we all managed to get together and make this one, centered around our blorbo supreme :’)) (or- well, stuff and i had to manage, we all now that ed and eviee draw at lightning speed 😂💙)

 shoutout to stuff for putting together the grid and the gifs!!!! isn’t it all so amazing to look at?? look at the styles! look at the choices!! we all draw ears differently! we each do clothes differently! no eyes look alike! ART IS SO FUCKING COOL!!!!!

So like, the thing is, is I think Hamid and Zolf never really stop arguing.

Which is not to say I don't think they're in love. I do. I think they're stupidly, deliriously in love. I think Hamid wakes up early in the winter to put a heat pack on Zolf's wheelchair so it's not cold when he gets in first thing in the morning.

I think Zolf learns how to cook all of Hamid's favourite recipes from his childhood and then surprises him with them on bad days.

I think Hamid learns to push less, to give Zolf more space, to let things go even when he's anxious and desperate and needs to talk.

I think Zolf learns to open up more. I think he learns to say "not now, but we can discuss it when I've had time to process."

But none of that can solve the way they bicker over what flowers to plant in front of the tavern.

"We ain't putting succulents outside in complete shade in the middle of London, Hamid. They'll die."

"Begonias clash with the paint job, Zolf! They'll look ridiculous!"

Don't get me started on how they bicker when writing their book. Discrepancies on who was where, and when. Zolf insisting he wasn't jealous of Hamid's date in Paris, and Hamid insisting that he saw something in Zolf's eyes when he left their hotel.

"Annoyance, Hamid. I was annoyed you were wastin' our time."

"I saw the way you looked at me. If you were annoyed it was only because I hadn't asked you out first."

I just think it's both an old habit they can't break but also an old comfort they wouldn't dare give up. Zolf pushes and Hamid pulls and they know they've got each other. They've long since worked out how to avoid the sharp edges without dulling themselves.

I just...I don't think Zamid has to be perfectly fluffy or sweet for them to be in love, and I think that when all the dust has settled, and Hamid has moved in, that they find themselves together.

I just think they deserve to spend the remainder of their days happily in each other's arms, sleepy as the sun pours through the window, trading soft little kisses as they argue about who's turn it is to make the coffee.

hoo boy this was an undertaking :D i drew a Wedding Zolf/Hamid comic for my dear friend @lovefourtydown​ for @fandomtrumpshate​!!

The prompt was a bright wholesome magically wedding and im happy to deliver it <3

Hamid is a brown-skinned Egyptian Halfling with short curly brown hair and scaly skin, he is wearing a purple patterned suit with a brass button up shirt and a plaid cravat. I’m considering coming out to my family as non-binary, and so today I brought up the subject of non-binary gendering/transgendering with my Dad as a casual conversational topic. He’s told me that if somebody is born a boy then they “should stay a fucking boy” and not trans to a girl or be a boy some days/girl other days/genderless other days.

I told him that I think gender identity should be something one can choose for themselves, and he says that nobody thinks like that and anybody who is trans/non-binary will just be shunned by every member of society they meet. He doesn’t think that people support n-b/t communities, because he doesn’t. He says to me that not staying one’s natural gender is wrong and against the point of being born a boy/girl.

Every person who reblogs this will have their URL written in a full-size writing book and when it is full I will show it to my father to illustrate to him the amount of people who believe that being non-binary is a valid gender identity.
