𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐲𝐧 - This girl, she will make you feel like you're on top of the world. I mean, like, ruler of the universe. Cait is so sweet about it when you tell her, or even when she notices. She'll notice your eyes linger on them in the mirror for too long.

And man, she'll start complimenting you, kissing them in bed, even just paying attention to the areas while you two are cuddling. You catch on, obviously, she's a terrible liar in your eyes and even worse at keeping things from you. But she just wants you to see yourself the way she sees you.

She'll comfort you for as long as you want her too, and she will tell you everyday how amazing you look. Caitlyn will go above and beyond to make you feel beautiful. She calls them your little lightening strikes, your personality reminds her of lightening. So beautiful yet could potentially kill you. She loves you and every inch of your body.

Body worships like a mofo, and will kiss every inch of your body. While making eye contact. Whilst whispering how gorgeous you are. IN THAT DAMN ACCENT. Because to her you're a damn goddess. Those are her lightening stripes and she'll be damned if she lets you be sad over them.

𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐤𝐚 - This bitch. She's an aggressive lover. She'll begin noticing how you look at yourself in the mirror. Or how you try hiding them with your clothes. And does she get mad, oml. She thinks its ridiculous because LOOK AT YOU, but she understands feeling insecure.

She gets insecure over herself, a lot, whether it be her scars or her arm. She'll kiss them in bed, and she's real bold so she'll tell you how hot you look. How she can't wait to see 'all of you' in bed. My own writing got me blushing. She's just so cocky about it. She'll call you every damn name in the book to see your face flush.

She'll run her flesh hand over the areas with the stretch marks as she mumbles on about how much she finds you so hot, and how you're all hers. Makes a person go a red. She'll sit behind you while you look in the mirror of your bedroom just undressing you with her eyes, staring at you like your something higher then human.

Or she'll stand, or sit near you and run her fingers over the areas with the stretch marks. Grabbing and massaging some of them. Just silently watching you and your reactions. Watching how your face will change depending on the area she's touching. She hates how you feel about your stretch marks because to her, she fucking loves them. She fucking loves you. Excuse my language.

She'll throw random compliments at you, Sevika style of course, and grab your body with so much love. She likes telling you randomly throughout the day how good you look. Because if she sees how good you look, she has to tell you of course, but if she did every time man she wouldn't stop talking for all 24 hours in a day.

𝐕𝐢 - If anyone besides Sevika understands insecurities its Violet. She hates her scars, they remind of every minute she had to spend in that hellhole called Stillwater. So if you tell her how insecure you are about your stretchmarks she will shower you in love.

She'll stand at the mirror with you, no matter how much you wanna run away and pretend they don't exist. She will stand there and trace each one and tell you how beautiful she thinks you are and how beautiful they are. She's probably the type of person to call them tiger stripes, just to see you giggle.

Body WORSHIPSSSSSSS. Will kiss every fucking inch of your body and like Caitlyn, will make eye contact the whole time. Or she'll sit with you in bed and run her fingers over the areas that affect you the most and talk about how pretty you are. Running her finger over every little mark while kissing your neck making you laugh.

She really loves seeing you laugh. If you're crying over your stretch marks or in general she will do everything in her power to make you feel better and to make you smile. She hates seeing you upset over something she loves that's apart of you. She loves you and that includes your tiger stripes :). I'm sorry that is so fucking funny to me.

ADHD study tip

One of the hardest things about studying, or just being productive in general, with ADHD is getting started. It's so hard to just sit down and get something done. I was talking to my brother, who also has ADHD, and we realised we both do the same thing before studying. I always thought it was a bad thing, but after talking to my brother I realised it motivates me to continue being productive.

What we do is something we like to call "productive procrastination". It sounds bad, and yes, to an extent, it can be. Basically you do something not related to your task at hand that is still productive. It gives you that activation energy you need to just start what you need to do.

For example, yesterday I put on an audiobook and for half an hour I did a deep clean of my desk and bookshelves before starting my day of studying. Yes, this was procrastination, but it helped give me motivation. Doing something small makes what you need to do less daunting, because you get that bit of dopamine that keeps you going.

I also find that cleaning up my room really helps. I'm normally a really messy person, but when I study I need a clean space. I used to think it wasn't true, but I now really agree with the saying "messy room, messy mind".

friends romans and countrymen alike i have one hell of a story for you.

this morning i was scrolling through the silly little reels on my instagram for you page, as one does, and about a good 45 minutes into this i got recommended a candle company that puts (supposedly) real diamonds in their candles.

and in my still somewhat half asleep glory i thought "this sounds absolutely ridiculous, what do i have to lose" and clicked on the website.

upon clicking on said website i was given a 10% off code that i had to use within 15 minutes so basically my mind was already made up and i decided to text brad.

so with what was probably brads approval i scrolled through the silly little website as fast as i could and decided to stick to the more classic scents since i didnt want to be stuck with something that smelled bad (although "wap" and "i hate my boss" did intrigue me briefly) and i went with "tobacco bourbon" because thats always a decent combo.

and then in a last minute decision i decided to also get "chai tea" because it sounded interesting and who knows maybe the diamonds are real.

the court should note that i did absolutely zero research on this company.

and with my 10% off on top of whatever massive sale they were having the total plus shipping came to $63.86.

brad was also very excited about this purchase and said that if the diamonds were real he may put them in my engagement ring.

so now all thats left is to wait 2-5 business days for my candles to get delivered. i have absolutely zero expectations. stay tuned.

Astrology For Beginners

The Sun (and it’s house) is your identity, ego, and personality, it’s the most important part of your chart. It’s why we say “I’m a Gemini”, and leave it at that. You can, it’s the most important. Some people don’t identify with their Suns and don’t know about the rest of the signs, which could help it make sense. Everything revolves around the Sun, so everything following just modifies your Sun. Can show aspects of the father (along with Saturn & 10th house).

Rising sign (determined by birth time) is the life path you are walking as a Gemini. Every person has every sign influencing some aspect of their chart, lives, and behavior. 1st House (the Rising sign) is second in importance, because it’s how you appear to others, the impression you give, how you look, and equally how you act. A person is like an equal marriage of their Sun + Ascendant. A Gemini with Cancer rising (Moon ruled) is not walking the same path as a Gemini with Sagittarius rising (Jupiter ruled), which is why you find such contrasting differences between the same signs. Nor will they look the same. Genetics matter too. Everything aspecting the 1st house affects it, if you’ve got Leo rising with a lot of Pluto aspects to the 1st, you’ll probably have the deep, intense & hypnotic eyes of Scorpio too…with great hair 😏 and a sunny disposition. The ruling planet of the sign your Rising is in, is your chart ruler, and where that planet is in your chart (sign/house) is as important as your Sun and North Node, it’s what guides you. Mars ruled? Less talk & more action. Venus ruled? You follow your heart.

South Node (and it’s house) is 3rd most important (imo), it’s the sign you have mastered, it’s what’s most comfortable to you, it’s what you are leaving behind in this life. The North Node is where you are headed on your path through the houses, it’s your soul’s destination, what you learn and how you will evolve as a person. You don’t have to know these, you will unconsciously end up here whether you know them or not. When you are feeling down about life, out of control, losing it and at rock bottom, look to your North Node (and it’s house) for direction. You’re probably too comfortable in South Node energy, and it won’t work out, it’s not supposed to, your soul yearns to get back to its path.

The Moon is your emotional responses, it’s what you need to feel comfortable in your life, relationship with the mother (along with 4th house), your mother’s energy or place in her own path at the time of your birth, your inner self, feelings, habits. Negative aspects to the Moon hit us at our core. A Gemini with Leo moon craves the spotlight, friends, overcoming challenges and can be very dramatic with emotion, mother probably gave them a lot of positive attention and helped them succeed. Whereas a Gemini with Virgo moon is squared, anxious, uncomfortable in their emotions & endlessly searching for answers with double Mercury energy. Mother was probably health conscious (or ill), critical, intelligent, and obsessive. Negative aspects to moon can show the sign traits of things they need and didn’t get as a child.

Mercury (and it’s house) is how your brain processes information, how you learn, how you communicate, what stimulates your mind. A Gemini with Gemini Mercury is a lightning fast thinker, an endless student, probably a great rapper 😆 A Gemini with Taurus Mercury learns at a much slower, more practical, more thorough pace. They may have had a speech impediment or had delayed speech as a child (Taurus takes it’s time). They may only focus on subjects that will help them with career, and don’t care about wasting time learning the rest, seeing things from a more practical & black/white perspective.

Venus (and house) is your way of expressing love, what romance and love is to you, the smells, colors, artists, musicians, books, and things that touch you deeply. A Gemini with Gemini Venus values casual friendships and endless interests over deeeep relationships and expresses love with communication and connection. A Gemini with Cancer Venus values children, romantic nights in, movies and fantasies, emotional expression.

Mars (and house) is your energy, sex drive, who/what attracts you, (along with the 5th house, where the 7th shows what you attract to you), what lights your fire, your anger & passion and how it’s expressed. Where you most apply your energy, your focus and where it’s applied. Can show aspects of your siblings (along with 3rd house). A Gemini with Taurus Mars is patient & slow to get angry (boy when they do watch out), but are always loyal and consistent. A Gemini with Aquarius Mars lets most things slide off their back and doesn’t care to get too involved, could be sexually fluid, or at least generally more accepting of “different” people in society, they may not be around much, loners, and are more of the holiday visiting sort, before they disappear again, on some wayward off-the-beaten path.

Jupiter (and it’s house) is your personal good luck charm when positively aspected by other planets. May be seen as “a gift from God”, how Spirit moves through you, where/how you’ve possibly been “saved”. Can show aspects of your spouse, Jupiter returns can be a time (not always) when you meet a spouse. When negatively aspected, can indicate growth, which may materialize as weight problems, literal growth on the body (like tumors), cancer, negative things…that grow, and anything that’s excessive (eating, drinking, studying, working, partying, etc.), things you’re susceptible to overdoing that need to be overcome.

Saturn (and it’s house) is the father, authority, discipline, restrictions, where life throws a grenade at you because grow tf up 😆, “the system” and how it affects you, where you have continuous long-term issues and how, karmic cycles you have to learn on your own how to break (though aspects to Saturn in synastry may show others that can help…or trigger), your motivation to overcome problems and how you do this, what needs to be “broken” in you so to speak, so you’re not a wild crazy horse anymore, you’ve grown up. It’s aspects are very difficult lessons to overcome as they’re long lasting or take years (several cycles even, and maturity) to learn. The Saturn return at around age 30 is known to be a time in your life where everything changes to get you back on your path…if you’ve strayed from it, which isn’t so bad if you’re already there, but can be quite painful for others. How many of us have it all figured out at 30…not everyone 💯 It’s effects last a long time. It signifies age as well, especially in the 7th House, partners may be much older or younger, or take a long time to come in, there are lessons involved.

Uranus (and it’s house) is a wild card, spontaneous changes, actions, responses, impulses, like a lightning strike out of the blue. It can be good, like lottery wins and sudden job offers. It can be the literal Tower tarot card, and lightning strikes your home, you never saw it coming. It can show your natural impulses, and aspects (good or bad) show you the effects of those impulses (good or bad).

Neptune (and it’s house) is dreams, sleep, substances and drugs, what’s illusion, what you dream of, but also can’t see clearly. Positively affected is living out your dreams, manifesting, negatively aspected causes all sorts of chaos. Responsible for psychics, astral projection, intense spirituality, ghosts, any level of occult interest (plus the 8th, 9th & 12th houses, especially with Neptune in them). Can also show confusion, lack of direction, negatively aspecting Mercury/Moon/Jupiter/6th & 12th Houses can show mental health problems or addictions.

Pluto (and it’s house) is a bitch 😆 I’m sorry, mine is. Needed some humor. Ruling over Scorpio, those with many aspects to Pluto have Scorpion & 8th house themes ruling their lives, even if they have no Scorpio in their planets. Death & rebirth, what ends will be born again, obsession, control, taboo subjects and dark, very intense situations & relationships. What will die and be transformed in your life, usually symbolic deaths, can be actual deaths sometimes, sometimes several times throughout life. Can show struggles and dangers with the world around you, and how it affects you, being a generational planet. Pluto describes an entire generation of people and the changes they make to society and the world. In synastry, it’s best unaspected imo, in its little corner just existing, positive is still obsession and negative is control and power trips. Often plays a role in your own death, being aspected in some way, though astrologers can’t and won’t try to specifically predict these things, just that difficult times are coming. We are not God. The same aspects that causes one person’s death causes another person’s struggle & rebirth…that’s Pluto. After death, the aspects at the time of death are apparent in the chart, especially regarding the 8th and what Pluto is aspecting at the moment.

Dark Moon Lilith (and it’s house) is the darkest and most negative aspect of you, your darkest traits, the kinks, sexual deviancy, obsessions, and temptations. Your worst behavior. I find it as important as the South Node in realizing what needs to be released, but with Lilith, it’s more what needs to be tamed. You are this way, you can’t hide it, you can’t kill it, you can only accept it, learn about it, and control it. Many celebrities have Lilith in the 1st, people are obsessed with them/their looks and they channel their Lilith in positive ways (usually), while still being provocative. In regular life, the same placement may bring opposition, especially from/towards women. When it’s you, hi, you’re the problem, it’s often Lilith being aspected by something in the current astrological lineup, or in synastry with another person. Lilith is obsession, lust, desire, acting “out of character”. At worst she’s a she-demon from hell, in whatever house she’s in. People that aspect your Lilith may bring out the worst in you, the quiet closet freak in you, all of your most intense triggers and deepest secrets. It attracts intensely or repels intensely, you have to have them or you cannot fn stand them, there is no middle ground. Also best unaspected imo, at best they’re simply compatible, my dark side understands & accepts yours, but you can’t change your/their chart. If a connection is toxic as hell, Lilith is probably front and center in one or both people.

Chiron (and it’s house) is your deepest pain. It’s also where you may cause pain (hurt people, hurt people). It’s how you heal yourself, and can help others heal in the same way. People that aspect your Chiron may deeply wound, or help heal, or you do this with them. Hard telling which.

Placidus is my way of calculating charts, I don’t find whole sign to be authentic because of degree theory, intercepted signs, and the following paragraphs, and it being proven to make sense to me over a lifetime of study. Some disagree. That’s your choice. I don’t discount it, it’s just not for me. If you’re a whole sign person, your time reading probably ends here.

Degrees matter. The degree of your planets (and houses) are how those planets and houses are expressed most often. Sag rising on a Cancer degree, you may spend a lot of time teaching…children, cooking, home matters, art. Cancer things. Venus Virgo on an Aquarius degree is helpful, detailed, acts of service in behavior, but towards everyone as a whole, for the greater good, could be a volunteer or social worker, or are known for these things, depending on other placements. 18 & 22 degrees are known as negative degrees, along with others, there are many pages dedicated to just this topic. I don’t really pay attention to these two, unless they’re together. Those people have seen (or done) some intense shit, and have probably dealt with violence at some point 💯 29 degrees is difficult as well, it’s a placement of fame, but it’s the master, you’ll find these placements as naturally more mature in its planet/placement’s sign’s energy, having mastered every angle of the degrees prior. 0 degrees is the baby, is brand new to the sign’s energy and very eager to jump in and…make mistakes. Learn. It’s a very excitable and naive (The Fool) type of energy.

Intercepted houses are two opposing signs that are not comfortable being expressed, and though they are 100% valid in the house that they are in, they are often hidden. Part of your karma is learning to become comfortable expressing these energies in yourself, which may have been ridiculed or otherwise unable to manifest themselves in younger years. The ruling planets of the more than one houses you have opposite signs ruling, and where those planets are (house), are more powerful and affect you more than they normally would by just ruling one house.

Every sign in a house matters. So do their ruling planets, they work as a team. If you have a 7th house of Aquarius and Pisces, it’s ruled by Uranus and sudden unexpected encounters, but you attract both. Along with Capricorn (Aquarius’s co-ruled Saturn ruler) and Sagittarius (Pisces’ co-ruled Jupiter ruler). That’s 4/12 signs, you’re bound to be compatible with one of them. Then you would find Uranus, Jupiter, and Saturn in your houses. All signs of those houses also apply. Could be three or more signs. There are many possibilities and you’re not stuck to one sign you often can’t stand 😁 I see those questions more than any other. So if you’re full of Taurus/Scorpio, and have a hard time getting along with Aquarius, the 7th may show them specifically more as lessons, enemies, and the other signs may actually show up as your spouse. Similarly, if your 1st is Aries 29’ & Taurus, you’re ruled by Mars, at the tail end of the sign having mastered its energy, and may look more like Aries, but act more like Taurus, because it’s an entire house of Taurus. Your personality contains both. Plus The Sun. 2nd question I’ve seen asked more than any other, especially when it’s Cancer/Leo, they feel more Leo, it’s because they are. These explain many contradictions people have with astrology.

Touching on enemies, 7th and 12th are known as the enemy houses. 7th because there is a fine line between love & hate, you attract both, or your enemies may act in the way of the sign towards you (like Aquarius 7th, ick people may ghost you a lot, and act condescending towards you, even not being Aquarians, for example). 12th describes secret enemies, ones you don’t see in the open and don’t expect, they consciously or unconsciously work against you. While that may be true, I find the 12th to be intense spiritual & karmic connections, those you’ve known in past lives, spiritual contracts, Twin Flames. Being the house of the unconscious, it difficult to pinpoint how positive or negative a 12th heavy connection may be. Some are very spiritual. Some may be dangerous or toxic. Mercury especially, in 12th synastry, has a mind control effect on the other person, the 12th person may not understand why they do what they do while Mercury pulls the strings. The same placement can show intuitive understanding of how the other person expresses themselves, or non verbal communication, being able to speak and understand with expressions & body language. It’s like they can read your mind. Mostly positive. Positive or negative, 12th synastry (along with Pisces, Scorpio, Neptune, and Pluto) is very intense, powerful and can indicate soul ties.

Aspects - things may be in the same sign, or even squared/opposite, and still give each other space, and those are more tolerable. You can have Mars and Pluto in the same sign but one is at 1’ and the other is 27’, they’re not conjunct. Similarly, someone’s Scorpio Sun may square your Jupiter Leo, by sign, but the degrees are far enough apart that they’re largely unaspected, and less likely to cause issues. Aspects are usually within a 5’-10’ orb, conjunctions are within 2’ at their most powerful. When it comes to asteroids, they all exist somewhere but only really apply when tightly conjunct one of your personal planets or the AC/DC/IC/MC or 1st, 4th, 7th & 10th house cusps. When The Sun is within 10’ of another planet, it tends to combust that planet’s energy, or make it harder to express, even in synastry.

A synastry chart is laying yours and other persons chart on top of each other and seeing what affects who and where they are. A composite chart is the combination of yours and another persons chart. You know how married people act like the same person after some years? That’s a composite chart, the personality they become together. A progressed chart is how you have progressed in the time since you have been born. Though you are your same signs existing as you, you have learned many lessons and are now, currently, expressing yourself in this way, based on how far you’ve come. "why do you guys hate wholesome lgbtq+ stories they're very important for people that are still exploring their sexuality" okay but have you ever thought that members of the lgbtq+ community ALSO want to see themselves represented as people with a purpose other than exploring their sexuality??? like why do "gay romcoms" focus on how somebody figures out they're non-straight rather than how two people fell in love with each other??? it's okay if the lgbtq+ themes are secondary factors in your stories just give us a real plot god bless

Agents of SHIELD Rewatch Season 1A (ep. 1-11)

Here's my commentary on my rewatch of Agents of SHIELD Season 1 Episodes 1-11. This may not be the best commentary since these are just the thoughts and opinions that come to my mind as I watch the episodes rather than a full-blown analysis, but I'm just having fun with it!

1x01 The Pilot

Something about Skye's voice being the first voice you hear. I don't know what about it, but I like it.

This is a Mike Peterson appreciation blog. He deserved to be in so many more episodes after season 1.

BABY SKYE!!

The only part that sucks about rewatching season 1 is that I know Ward is Hydra, so even when he's doing good, I know what his main motives are.

This is like my millionth time watching the pilot, and I just now realized that the line "if the job was easy, it wouldn't be any fun" that both Ward and Garrett say was introduced in this episode.

"It means someone really wanted our initials to spell out shield"

"You haven't been near his arms" *in regards to Thor*

"Welcome to Level 7" YESSS BITCH!!!!

Coulson's so wholesome and pure I love him so much!🥺

Thank you Agents of SHIELD for forever making me say "It's a magical place" whenever Tahiti is mentioned ever.

The fact that Ward's first thought when Coulson is talking about the Rising Tide is to cross them off. Finding all these red flags.

Okay, but why was Hill drawing a porcupine on Ward's evaluation?

The fact that Chloe Bennet was only 20 in the pilot (aka the same age as me rn).

I see a lot of people (mostly reactors on YouTube) say that they were annoyed with Skye at first (which I can understand), but for me, she just always had some sort of charm that made me fall in love with her.

"With great power comes... a ton of weird crap that you are not prepared to deal with." one of the most ICONIC Skye/Daisy lines.

Also, it's crazy to see how bubbly and innocent Skye was. So different from Season 7 Daisy.

The fact that you can so clearly see that Phil and Melinda had lots of history together from the first scene together.

"It's a really nice bus" I MISS THE BUS

Fitzsimmons was also so innocent back then. (If you've been following me for a while, you know my feelings on Fitzsimmons in the later seasons (more so on Fitz), so I'll try to keep my emotions on them to a minimum until the time where I can rant :) I'll just appreciate season 1 them for now.)

"Don't touch Lola"

Coulson really showed up to Skye's van completely ready to adopt her.

"What's your real name?" This line hits hard in the fact that she actually doesn't know what her real name is yet.

You can clearly see how excited Simmons was and how nervous Fitz was about their first field mission as soon as they step out of the car.

Skye came off as a little hot-headed, but she's actually so smart. Like she said, SHIELD had billions of dollars of equipment, and she was able to crack Centipede with her own skills.

I love that Fitz sings "Heigh-Ho" as he sends the dwarfs outs.

Skye has canonically cosplayed outside Stark Tower at least once.

"She can be an asset" Oh Phil, you have NO IDEA.

They say "what the hell" so much in this show. *see Agents of What the Hell on YouTube"

Coulson doesn't care about your protocol, Ward.

"GrAmSy"

From episode one, you can clearly see just how big Skye's heart is and how she really does care about people.

"When you get back, I'll show you my thing. Oh, it's not. It's my hardware. MY EQUIPMENT!"

You can also see in Skye's face where her morals lie as soon as Mike shows that he brought Ace along.

Mike taking Skye is just the first of many times Skye is kidnapped.

I find it funny that the truck driver is named Agent Mack. Also, the fact that they used that name for Mack in season 2.

Another rant on how I wish the show delve more into Skye/Daisy's past in foster care. Like why exactly she dropped out of high school, if she aged out of the system or ran away, how her foster homes have affected her mind and thought process, etc.

I just love how the show actually shows how smart Skye actually is. Like she isn't the same kind of smart as Fitzsimmons, but she had her own way of doing things and she's a quick thinker and really clever.

I also love how Coulson already has her thought process pretty much figured out, and that's why he knows how Ward should be going about training her.

I get that Ward has been abused, but I hate how he uses it to justify all the bad things and murders he has committed. I guess you could say Garrett brainwashed him into thinking that way, but after 2x06, Ward moves far away from redemption, and his actions can't be blamed on his past anymore.

This episode may not be one of "the best" of the series but the fact that they introduce Gravitonium and basically set up an entire plot point for season 5 is insane.

The first time watching this, I couldn't tell if she was betraying SHIELD or playing Quinn. Still fully believe she’s was playing him.

My favorite part of Coulson really is his humanity. The way he talked with the firefighter during his last moments is so heart-wrenching and beautiful. Telling him that it was beautiful on the other side.

I’d be scared if I was on the same plane as an object carrying an alien virus too.

Skye’s so worried about Jemma, she’s literally on the verge of tears. I love their friendship so much (save for s5/6).

Coulson really said screw Agent Blake.

All this talk about pandemics and vaccines in this episode really hitting close to home and I don’t like it.

It happens for a second, but we get the first sliver of Mama May and Skye when May softly pulls Skye away by her shoulder.

The special effects in this episode aren’t bad by any means, but it’s amazing to see how far they’ve come since then.

Coulson’s just a worried dad.

You can truly see some of Jemma's Virgo-ness in this episode. (As a Virgo myself, I can say this is accurate. My birthday is actually the day after Jemma's/Elizabeth's).

The hallway scene is still so funny to me. Between Simmons' terrible flirting and Skye's "what?" face. It's great.

My lying skills are just about as good as Jemma's are in this episode. Depending on who I'm with/the situation, I either get really stuttery or I start laughing ridiculously.

Forever bitter that they cut that deleted scene of Jemma and May.

See, Skye knows when to pull away from her personal wants. She knows when the right time for it all is, and I don't think she got enough credit for that. You can't tell me, that if you were in Skye's position and the file on your past was right there, you wouldn't be curious. She did look away from it and looked at the mission when she realized she didn't have enough time. She still put the members of her team before herself.

I only think about the Charlie's Angels reference from the bloopers during this scene.

Not too much to say about this episode for me personally.

BUT I was fully convinced that before this episode, Skye was Coulson and May’s love child that they had to give up because of the job.

1x08 The Well

The first episode to connect with the movies. I personally feel like the show exceeded when it began to stray farther away from the movies.

Just a quick note: Thor: The Dark World is probably lower on my MCU movie list, but I don't think it was necessarily a bad movie. I actually did enjoy it quite a bit.

Skye simping over Thor is a mood, but May agreeing with her is just great.

It's so weird to hear someone refer to Ward as Grant. It's like when someone other than Coulson calls May Melinda.

People probably think of Asgardians when Coulson says he had one-on-one time with aliens. Even though, due to the time this episode came out, that's what the show was referencing, I like to think he's talking about the events of Captain Marvel.

Not to be protective about Skye, but seeing her jump around Ward makes me very sad, and again, mad that the show basically chose to forget about her past and have other characters completely disregard it.

I could never stick my hand in someone's body, even if I could save them. I just don't have the guts or stomach to do that.

They made it seem like Thomas died in the well, so I was surprised when they showed him in season 3.

"Because I see it every day." UGHHHHHH the fact we know what happened in Bahrain, this hurts.😭

I really did not like being reminded of MayWard. I also hate the fact that this wasn’t the first time they did this.

“Bringing along warm and fuzzy” Not gonna lie, but Skye does have a point, but at the same time, I do understand that Coulson just wants her to get an understanding of how it works.

I’m just curious as to why Tobias didn’t attack May after she shot Hannah with the ICER.

I really like Fitzsimmons in this episode ngl.

DAVIS D. DAVIS

It’s hilarious to me that Davis was a one-off, one-line character in s1 then became a full-fledged recurring character in s4-7.

Okay, but May on horseback, double-wielding guns would be a sight to see.

This episode is a prime example of how Skye always sees the best in people.

I didn’t really like Skye pressing May about her policies since it obviously cuts close to her past, but I do understand that Skye doesn’t necessarily know what May’s been through exactly.

“I think she needs to get laid” So does she know about May and Ward at this point? I don’t think so. BUT Ward freezing should have been a red flag.

Fitz is so oblivious in this episode, and I love it.

Love how Fitz is unscathed after they crashed the plane and he was in a closet, not tied down to anything.

As someone who was raised Catholic (but not super-duper religious) and is now in a state of not knowing whether or not I still believe in God, Skye’s words in this scene really lift me up and give me hope.

Okay, but why was I low-key scared of this episode the first time I watched it? I think it was because it was late and dark at night when I was watching it😅

We get to hear a little about Bahrain, and I love it.

There’s no way around Melinda May.

“Hey, that’s our story”

I think May was truly ready to take Tobias out and put her own life on the line at this moment.

“Let the girl go” will always be a painful line.

There’s hardly any communication between May and Skye in the cockpit, but it’s still such a sweet scene.

They clearly did not watch Phineas and Ferb cause otherwise they’d know what an aglet is.

I think what I love most about this episode is the focus on both Skye and May, which leads to the cockpit scene, which basically is the start of their relationship, and they have one of the best platonic relationships in the whole show.

1x10 The Bridge

Oh, we love the “he’s standing behind me” trope.

“Kidnap victim” Again, Skye, you have no idea.

I know they probably just chose a last name randomly, but what if Brian Hayward was related to Tyler Hayward from Wandavision? Just a theory.

Simmons really falls for a handful of people this season, doesn’t she? Mike. Trip. Fitz. I mean, I’d do the same with Mike and Trip.

Ugh, I love Coulson talking about Audrey, but the fact that Ward uses this information against him just infuriates me.

“Someone looking up to you” The fact that Skye never had that person to look up to as a kid🥺

I get that May is trying to protect Skye from the truth, but that was pretty harsh.

The faith that the team has in Skye on her own is outstanding compared to the beginning of the season.
