Hey I just wanted to say happy pride month I know you don’t use a label on yourself and since then I actually stopped trying to identify with a label myself and I wanted to thank you for that for so long I felt as if I needed to have a label on my sexuality but thanks to you I realized I don’t and if I do ever come to terms with a label it was on my own not because I felt that’s what I had to do :)

firstly happy pride !!! i'm so glad i could help you figure some things out. i feel like labels are kind of redundant in the lgbtqia+ community considering the point of the community is to be outside of binary labels. labels are cool and as humans our brains are hardwired to categorize every little things because it makes our thinking processes easier, but not everything in life fits into perfect little squares.

i think a really big part of maturing and growing into queer identities is realizing that not everything or everyone needs a label. if we depend too much on labels, we're just boxing ourselves in, you know? as long as you're happy and comfortable with yourself, that's all the matters in the end.
