Members of Aspecs Committed to Anti-Racism (ACAR) have put together a working resource document of ways to take action to stop the genocide in Gaza right now.
We call on our aspec community, especially in the West, to take immediate action.
We urge aces and aros to not stay silent and speak out about what is happening in whatever ways you can, online and in your local community.
This is a working document which we will add to as we receive more information. It is transnational, currently with resources for the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia.
If you know of a resource which should be added, please contact myself or another member of ACAR.

For everyone here on my Tumblr I need y’all to stop what you’re doing and really lock in to the genocide happening in Gaza right now. I will post as many links as I can but the best you can do right now is be loud as fuck! About this.
TLDR Isreal has cut off all water, electricity and telecommunications within Gaza in a complete blackout and Gaza has lost their voice. Israel has already threatened to bomb Al Shifa hospital, which is currently a shelter for around 50k-60k Palestinians. These are images of Gaza Strip from an HOUR AGO. They are literally slaughtering and wiping out generations of Palestinians as we speak.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please I need to see y’all talking about this and being loud for Palestine. Your anime yaoi twink hyperfixation will still be here tomorrow but literally thousands of innocent people may not.

@Marxozoic: We Palestinians haven't lost hope, and you shouldn't either.
@Marxozoic: Yes, it's tough. It's the moment where "the heart has reached the throat" as we say in Arabic. But remember that it was always going to be like this, and that the Resistance is ready.

132 Indigenous activists, artists, and intellectuals just made a joint statement condemning Israel's genocide against Palestinians. It is a beautiful piece and I highly recommend reading the full post here: https://therednation.org/statement-of-indigenous-solidarity-with-palestine/
Tumblr media
We encourage Indigenous peoples worldwide to uplift additional demands from Palestinian organizers, to commit to the Palestinian call to Boycott, Divest, and Sanction (BDS) Israel and all institutions complicit in Israeli apartheid and settler colonialism, to issue solidarity statements and mutual aid for Palestine and organize mutual aid for Gaza, to demand freedom for political prisoners, and to support Land Back and the right of return for Palestinians. Stop the genocide. End the siege. End the occupation. Dismantle apartheid. Decolonize Palestine.

If you haven't heard a National March on Washington in solidarity with Palestine is being planned for Nov. 4. If you can't make it (like me) consider donating to ANSWER Coalition to cover transportation costs for buses to help get as many people to the march as possible.

A journalist stationed at a Gaza hospital who has been able to make a call via his Turkish sim:
"We’re in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. We have no idea what’s happening. There’s no connection, no Wi-Fi, no reporters. We’re cut off from everything.. People can’t call ambulances or civil defense. We are being bombed in an unprecedented manner. The sky around us just lights up [with explosions], and no one knows what’s going on. You can’t reach anyone, even if they’re only 500 meters away. Ambulances and medics are begging reporters to let them know which streets are getting bombarded to go rescue the victims but the reporters themselves don’t know where anything is happening [because of the connection loss]. We are trying to report the news but we have no idea what’s happening.”

#IStandWithPalestine
I stand against genocide.
I call on the asexual community, the queer community, the comics community, and all people of conscience to take a stand NOW against the ethnic cleansing which is unfolding in Gaza.
We cannot be silent!
Free Palestine 🇵🇸
If you live in the U.S. your tax dollars are funding a genocide against 2 million people, 50% children, in Gaza. If you live in a Western country your government is supporting a genocide.
It is up to all of us in the West to do what we can to stop the genocide in Gaza.
Speak out!
As asexual people, as queer people, we should understand that our oppression is tied to that of every other oppressed group and that includes Palestinians.
This issue affects our community. There are asexual people who are being ethnically cleansed in Gaza at this very moment.
If you are an asexual organization or group, or activist, or educator, or person with a platform of any size who lives in the West, I urge you to take an immediate stand in support of Palestine.
We cannot afford to be silent.
Silence is complicity in genocide.
Free Palestine 🇵🇸
Edit: Transnational resources to take action to stop the genocide in Gaza can be found here

Happy first day of asexual awareness week 2023!
I drew my first asexual comic on this blog for AAW 2022, so I've been doing this for a year now huh. It's been so much fun, never thought it'd get as much positive feedback as it did, so it means a lot TwT
