Introducing some new OCs!

On the right, we have Miril. He’s my new D&D character, a High Elf Bard. He accidentally fell in a Fey Ring and ended up giving his true name to a powerful Archfey. Needless to say he now belongs to that Archfey.

On the left, is the Archfey himself- known as The King of the Bloom. A vain and beauty-obsessed deity who rules over the Court of Blooms in the Feywild. His favourite forms to take are an enormous stag and a similarly over-sized male eladrin.

The petals on Miril’s chest are not tattoos but permanent reminders of when the King worked his magic on Miril’s body. They are particularly numerous on Miril’s chest because magical top surgery is something I decided exists in D&D.

Fun fact - The petals on Miril's body aren't tattoos, they're markings left behind after his body was reshaped by his patron's magic. They're mostly on his chest because who wouldn't make a deal with the Fey for free top surgery...

Hey it’s ace week and you’re local ace has something to say! I’ve been out as ace for 3 years now and it’s still a big part of my identity that I’m proud of so here’s a lil something for those who need it!

Here’s something cute

When lockdown happened in the UK it happened very suddenly. At the law firm I work at, our office building emptied overnight when everyone was told to work from home. No time to clear our desks, no time to bring office plants home.

Fast forward three and a half months - everyone assumes that their plants are dead.

But then! An email goes round! It’s turns out that one of our security guards is a florist, and -

-the security team has moved EVERY SINGLE PLANT from all 12 FLOORS of our office building into the cafeteria. It’s been turned into a temporary greenhouse. Cacti and succulents and spider plants and terrariums and potted ferns

AND! Each plant has been INDIVIDUALLY LABELLED by hand with post-it notes with name and desk location so the plants can go home after lockdown ends

To give some indication of the scale of the endeavour:

The plants are being taken care of tenderly. They get sun and water and are spending happy times with other plant friends

Looking for aid, the Star Guardians sought out their ancient allies, the Lunar Guardians. Except where the beautiful Lunar temple once stood now sits a ruin, and one lonely man, bearing the mantle of his fallen sister. The Last Lunar Guardian.

Lunar Guardian Aphelios! I was feeling down so decided to design him a Star Guardians skin... then created a really angsty story whilst working on it! Will there be a fic? Probably!
