Tumblr alternatives.

Pre-empting the new Tumblr rules being enforced in 2 weeks, do people know of potential alternatives?

Don’t be in a rush to leave just yet, even Tumblr themselves say it’ll be a process to implement it, so if it does happen, we have time to set up else where, then watch from our new home, the inevitable quick demise of Tumblr.

Remove nudity and erotica from the history of arts and you will close the museums. Ask artists, writers, creators, curators, and crusaders if they approve censorship. I do not consider myself an artist but if I was one I would definitely run away from you, Tumblr. Censorship can hurt anytime, anyone and this is what should primarly be banned.

You say “ we recognize Tumblr is also a place to speak freely about topics like art, sex positivity, your relationships, your sexuality, and your personal journey”. Well, ok, but Tumblr is first of all a micro-blogging platform using images. I think @yolasexlife is definitelly a blog that deals with sex positivity, relationships, sexuality and my personal journey…with pictures. So ? What did I do wrong ?

You say “as our understanding of our impact on our world becomes clearer, we have a responsibility to consider that impact across different age groups, demographics, cultures, and mindsets.” Sounds so responsible and wonderful ! Let’s accept that my pussy can hurt age groups, cultures or mindsets. Let’s agree that my pussy can be a major threat for many comunities. But now that Tumblr is a safer world,  what are you doing about displaying guns, war,  violence, weapons ? What about climate change disasters, destruction, earthquakes, accidents, death ?
