Upon exiting the confines of the Kathmandu Valley, lush green hills welcome you with fresh air immense views of stunning landscapes. Within no time, you will be able to see Lukla village and the airport. Lukla Airport is one of the world's dangerous airports at the height of 2860 m. Flying over the Sagarmatha National Park, you begin to notice the mountains like Cholatse (6440 m) and Lobuche (6367 m). The rocky landscapes embody wilderness, one of its own.
It is exciting to fly beside those rocky structures that stand tall and unbothered. Namche Bazar starts appearing at a far distance. The aerial view of Namche is sublime. Khumde  (5583 m) and Khumbu (5761 m) stand tall in the background. As you fly over the Namche Bazar, you notice the Namche Bazaar airport, which is not in its best condition, but the sight of the mountain ranges is mesmerizing. After a while, you fly over the Khumjung village at the height of 3780 m. It clenches its beauty covered with green roofing.
Small Sherpa settlements on the top of the hills are scenic. The Dudh Koshi river flowing from the Himalayas provides an enticing view, which is the icing on a cake. The river gushing down the valley embodies the trek route to the Everest Base Camp on its banks. Phortse is a beautiful Sherpa settlement at the height of 3840m. As you fly towards North, Ama Dablam (6812 m) and Lhotse (8501 m) greet you to the experience of a lifetime.
From the helicopter, you will notice the trek routes towards the Everest Base Camp, which extend like a string on an uneven surface. The trail on the slope of rocky mountains and the barren wilderness itself is adventurous from the air. As you fly towards Dingboche, gigantic brown hills crowned with rocky edges stand tall before the snow-capped mountain ranges.
Near the Pheriche village (4240 m) on the bank of Dudh Koshi, the helicopter will land to adjust the number of passengers. The helicopter can only hold the weight of 3 passengers besides the pilot above the height of 5550 m. This place offers you 360 degrees panoramic views of the mountains like Cho Oyu (8201 m), Lobuche East (6118 m), Tabuche (6367 m), Kantega (6658 m), Thamserku (6608 m), and more.
The aerial view from the helicopter grants you a close-up view of the mountains mentioned above. Flying close to the sky-soaring mountains is a different experience. It is breath-taking, as well as adventurous. The lakes from the air are alluring. Gokyo Lakes is one of the most famous ones. As you keep on flying North, you pass over the Lobuche village( 4910 m). The landscape in this region is overwhelming to your heart. Even the tall hills seem so little on the base of majestic mountains.
Chang Ri (6027 m), Pumo Ri (7165 m), Lingtren, Khumbutse, Changtse, and other mountains welcome you to the infamous Kala Patthar. On course to Everest Base Camp by helicopter, you get an opportunity to witness the frozen Khumbu icefall, which is a treat to your eyes.
Landing on Kala Patthar gives you the best view of the mountain ranges of the Everest Region. Extending from the left, Pumo Ri, Lingtren, Khumbutse, Lho La Pass, Changtse, Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Kantega, Thamserku, Tabuche, Cholatse, Lobuche East, and more are the mountains that you get to enjoy from Kala Patthar. This panoramic view beats every mountain trip you ever had. The view from Kala Patthar is simply delightful.
After spending some time there, you will fly back to Syangboche. On the way, you get to see the aerial view of the Tengboche monastery. The returning view allows you to relive the moments. You will get a chance to feed yourself in the Everest View Hotel. The spectacular view of Mount Everest and other nearby ranges while dining is a dream come true.
