Following yesterday's homage to Luard, today the tavern looks back at all previous iterations of my personal favourite archetype of all time, Shiranui! The abyss dragon that tried to destroy Vanguard in the anime will be coming back in D Series very soon. Will he bring ruin once again or will he be reformed (as his ending suggested)?

To celebrate the announcement of the D Series Luard and Shiranui decksets, today the tavern will give a homage to all previous iterations of one of the strongest Vanguards ever in G, and the one and only being that "broke" V series, the culmination of powercreep himself, Luard!

Surely he'll have calmed down a bit by the time he reaches us in D Series (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)

For the first post of the cardfighting tavern, let's start with the end! Throwback to one of the last "archetypes" of the G Era, Gyze! While not very successful competitively, only topping once thanks to a V Premium Gredora Gyze in 2018, I'm sure most people felt afraid when reading the last line in Gyze's effect.
