He laughed at her youthfulness even tho she wasn't that much younger. He watched her for a moment before following her out of the shop and then laughed. "Of course mermaid, want a mermaid ride to the theater?" he asked with a raised brow. He was making sure his wallet was put back in his front pocket once the credit card was placed back in it. "I mean you need to keep your tail good."
Beginnings
The day had started weirdly with texts coming in saying "congrats" and "How did you pull it off". I was confused, I didn't understand, how did I pull off what. It was at 10am that the call had come in from Coach. I had gotten the head male position on the cheer squad. That wasn't what I was aiming for. I had no nefarious plans that the others were even thinking about. I just was on the team to make sure that my sister was okay. I quickly thanked the coach and told him I would be the next practice and was able to reply back to all the texts in a furious manner saying I had done nothing to #Tristan, and I wished him all the best of luck with whatever was happening with him.
Scrubbing my face, I headed towards the bathroom. Standing before the sink and peering into the mirror I scrubbed my face once more. Tired eyes, I'd spent the whole night at least until 3am working on my first paper for my psych class. College has been rough, but luckily I was with my sister in the apartment our parents helped us get so we wouldn't have to live in the dorms on campus.
Grabbing the facewash, my mind mulls over if she knows already. If she got the same text messages that everyone else was sending me. "UGGGHHH"
I used the facewash to scrub the stress off my face. Using the cold water shocked my system. Looking back up into the mirror I can feel that today was going to be a long day. Wiping my face down my mind fully back to the present I put the towel back on the hanger and let myself out of my bathroom and into my room to throw on a shirt and pad out to the kitchen to make toast and a protein shake.

He laughed more to himself than to her as she removed the pieces. "I think you just need to pace yourself and perhaps save some for afterward." He tapped his card once the price was told. He watched the lady behind the counter bag everything up "And yeah you are just my sister, but you are the most important person in my life currently and I would do anything for you." He leaned toward her to whisper in her ear. "Besides, look at how mad she is that I'm favoring you." He smirked happily as he kissed his sister's cheek and handed her the bags "Your spoils princess." He grabbed the second bag and pulled a few things out of his bag that were for sure hers "Open your bag." He asked of her wagging her gummies at her. He was keeping their candy separated so when they got in the theater they didn't have to move them and make a bunch of ruckus.

"I get peace, I just dislike that women think I'm approachable when I'm with someone important" He ruffled the curls of her ponytail and blinked at how much candy between the two of them was actually in the cart. "You're going to get sick." He commented as he made his way towards the register. "But I told you I'd pay for this." he smiled as he fished out his wallet. "So, put it all on the counter, and let's see how bad the damage is." He declared to his sister.

He followed her into Sephora and dutifully kept an eye on things that she looked at and made mental notes that birthdays and Christmas would be around the corner and he could always grab things later for her. He then almost had to race after her once she made her way towards the sweet shop and heard her exclaim loudly. "thingamabobs are limited to 20 a piece" he tried to make a little mermaid joke.
As he was looking around he grabbed a few of his favorite cinnamon candies and licorice slipping it into his sister's cart. He told the nice lady walking around that he was here with someone and that he didn't need any help as he knew exactly what he wanted. He shivered he disliked when he was with people the way others would come up and throw themselves at him like he had time for them. He moved towards his sister and scoffed inwardly at the nerve of the woman that worked here. He spotted gummies that his sister had forgotten and threw them into the cart and tugged gently on a curl "almost done"

He followed his energetic sister to the ticket counter and walked around the rows and laughed to himself at the childish behavior that she exhibited at times. "You will not amuse me" He whispered in her ear after she asked for the ticket and fished out his student ID to confirm that he was a student at the local university. "Thank you," he told the lady as she complimented their outfits. "I gotta hand it to her" He gestured to his sister.
"Alright little mermaid off to find mermaid snacks?" he asked pointing towards the mall where the snack shack or whatever the sweet shop was called. "gotta get you all the sugar you desire!" he declared.

He rolled his eyes at his sister's need for all the sweet snacks. "I will let you pay for the tickets if you let me pay for all your sweet snacks," he asked of her, knowing that if he compromised right now in the truck there would be less of a fight when they got to the mall in front of people. "Or if you don't have the money I can pay for it all." He puffed up, He enjoyed treating his sister. Yeah, they were both lucky and received scholarships to be at University, but he also worked hard for what he earned; and made sure he was able to afford to treat people. Especially the subs he cared for, in this instance his sister.
Opening his car door he hopped out and walked around to his sister's side opening the door for her. Because he was a gentleman and that's how things go. He held his hand out and said in the most extremely obnoxious voice "M'lady." as he bowed his head, totally catering to her passenger princess vibes.

He snorted "Psychic," he smirked and turned left towards their destination. Once half a mile down he made a quick right into the mall area towards the good movie theater in town. "and I'll write your name" he sang softly, never admitting to anyone that he would bop to taylor swift.
Once he turned left towards the movie theater in the mall he let his head bop along with the song and turned to his sister as he turned down an aisle to park he told her "No one needs to know." he had to turn down another one he wanted to park fairly close to the theater he wasn't someone who just parked far away. "We can head to get the tickets first, then go to the candy store in the mall. Then coming back to go become part of that world!" he found the perfect spot and parked smirking satisfied that his sister wouldn't have to walk too far even though she was athletic, he didn't want her to have to work hard for her mermaid adventures.

As a Dominant he would've never let his sub talk the way his sister was talking, but he couldn't contain the smirk that seemed to edge its way onto his face from her mouth. He blinked at the insistence of her being put over a knee and rolled his eyes at her bite back, he swore that sometimes his sister was given a lil more sassiness than a sub should have. He turned left onto the main street from the parking lot of the apartment complex they lived in and started to make the drive toward the movie theater when the telltale signs of taylor swift blasted through the speakers and the phone call was gone. "Well, that seemed like. it went spectacularly? Is she always like that?" he asked questioning his sister about Erica. "I mean give a guy a chance!" he told her offhandedly. "I mean, I was pretty good in my audition, and I workout!" he proclaimed "She should at least test me out before she runs her mouth." He huffed as he made a right. "I think people should just chill." He was more so stating the last thought to himself than about anyone else. He was just getting worked up slightly. "Is she just a Dominant with a superiority complex?"

The laugh and greeting his sister gave made him slam the door of the apartment a little rougher than he intended and snorted loudly. "I didn't do anything to anyone man or ex!" he declared as he walked towards his truck and opened the door for his sister to get in he stood there staring at his sister blinking and whispered 'Who is it? are they really that worried?' he mouthed watching his sister as she talked on the phone. He didn't understand why they behaved the way they did about the whole situation. He got the position the same way he did auditioning and proving his worth.
He made sure his sister was in her spot before he shut the door and made his way over to his side of the car and got in. Once in he started the car and made sure the volume on his music was low. He then gestured to his sister who was still on the phone that the music was hers to do with.

He grabbed his wallet and made his way out of the room hearing his sister's words. "Reclining seats it is, and gummies lots of gummies." He smiled, his sister had always been the one out of the pair of them to rifle through his Halloween treats and made sure that all of the gummies were mysteriously gone. He nodded deep in thought. "Nachos are the best of both worlds I do agree." He walked towards her and lifted his hand towards her head grabbing a curl and tugging it playfully. "I do have to applaud you, sis, getting ready so quickly should be awarded." He made his way towards where the keys were hung so they don't forget them or lose them. "Want me to drive passenger princess?"

rolling his eyes he made his way into his own room once more and pulled out a pair of jeans, his prince charming shirt he'd gotten from a friend, and a flannel with his Disney cap. If he was going to put up with his mermaidy sister he'd at least attempt to match. "Little Mermaid it is" he called out as he started to get ready. "Do you want to go to the place that does the fancy seating with the ordering and things?" He called out from his room remembering the last time he'd gone there he'd taken a date and was extremely pleased with the place. "Or are we going to sneak snacks in, like we use to do," he smirked about when they were in high school and they use to sneak all kinds of stuff in using her purse. "I mean we could go get good snacks the premium yummy snacks." he declared.

"I hope that I am the only one to toss you up by your ass," He told her with a glare thinking about others that would be touching his sister and growling internally. He did not like thinking about other people touching HIS sister. He took another drink of his water and hummed at her sly cleverness. "Look at you such a good kid" He smirked as he rose a brow "SO Miss Good girl, what would you like to do today?" he asked her.
He walked away from the kitchen towards his room with his laptop and water to put the laptop away while he called out to her. "I mean since you are the mastermind" He quipped teasing his sister. Setting his laptop on the desk and straightened the paperwork next to it and taking another sip from his water bottle waiting to hear what his sister had to say. He turned from his desk and grabbed his cell phone off the bed to see several texts from friends congratulating him and a few of his sister's friends doing in fact what his sister had already asked about the party on Friday.

He rolled his eyes at his sister. She thought everything should be like it was in high school. "Coach was cool." he stated before adding, "You're welcome, that will be 20 dollars." he winked. Moving his neck from the left to the right he felt the joints crack before he stood and stretched his back hearing a few pops there. "What are your plans for this afternoon. Are you skiving off classes" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "If you are I won't yell this time, we could go do something fun," he smirked.
"Or are you going to be a good girl and go to class?" He asked, "If so I can just go find someone to flirt with until later." He asked batting his lashes playfully at his sister.
He moved to wash his drink cup out and put it to dry while he opened the fridge and grabbed a water bottle out. "I mean I could always go to the gym and work out since class is canceled." He told her opening his water bottle and taking a sip of it. "or we could stay here and watch a movie it's been a moment since we've just chilled together." he mentioned trying to remember the last time they'd done something just the two of them. His brain was coming up with nothing from this semester at least. "I mean unless you've got some hot something to go see." He waved his hand mentioning the few guys he's seen his sister around, one of the huge reasons he'd decided to join cheer to keep her safe.

Wiping my face down my mind fully back to the present I put the towel back on the hanger and let myself out of my bathroom and into my room to throw on a shirt and pad out to the kitchen to make toast and a protein shake.

"Ginny" he stated as he saw his sister finally gravitate towards the kitchen area. "I guess I could show up, I'm not doing it for her though." He stated as he finished the whipped cream on top of her coffee. "you're going to be the only girl I know that uses whipped cream on her coffee" he mentioned, as he pressed a kiss to the top of his sisters' head "Good morning your majesty" he said as he moved to grab her pancakes and placed them before her as his empty hand ruffled her messy bun.
moving to sit across from her and open the laptop that he had left in the kitchen the other night. Then signed into his email to check and see if his poli sci teacher had gotten back to him about the extension he needed.
"So did I do good?" he asked as he read an update from his psych teacher. "my 2 pm class was just canceled" he frowned "but he gave us work to do." sighed, "It could be worse I guess."

He poured another pancake after the first one was finished as he listened to Gabi speak. He snorted one more at how innocent his sister was about the world. "Surprise?" he said wholly believing she knew about his Cheer audition. "I mean, you really didn't know I was going to try out?" he asked from the kitchen, before adding another pancake to the pan after flipping the one already in there. "Have you called Mom and Dad lately?" he asked. "Mother has called to ask if we were okay with everything" he mentioned rolling his eyes thinking that their parents were a little weird.
"Many of your girlfriends or friends think I'm hot." He smirked enjoying that ego boost as he plated the second pancake and flipped the third. "Whose asking me to be there," He asked curiously as he tried to think about all the girls his sister hung out with as he was keeping track of the pancakes. "I could be there at the mixer. Is it at the house or what? Dress code, or should I just come in my boxers and give everyone a show!" he asked knowingly at what her friends would want.
"Come get breakfast, your butler has prepared the finest pancakes one could eat!" he declared as he finally plated the 3rd pancake and turned off the flame before putting the pan in the sink and pulling out the butter from the fridge and the syrup from the cabinet. "What would you like to drink your majesty!"

"I find. it exceedingly hilarious, til I get the 'did ya do it?' text in private; and there are quite a few who think I am the one responsible." He rolled his eyes as he washed the plates and utensils he used. Once the water was off he pulled out the ingredients for pancakes and began to quickly put together the batter for a few pancakes for her. "how many dear princess do you want for breakfast?" he asked teasingly as he continued to whisk til there was no more visible flour.
"I've got psych today at 2pm, followed by stats at 4pm" he called out "The professor for stats keeps calling my name wrong. He knows my name is Camden and keeps calling me Cameron; I get that there's a Cameron in the class and we are not the same human." he sighed as he pulled the pan out of the kitchen cabinet and turned the stove on and placed the pan onto the fire and picked up the batter and began to pour the first pancake out for his sister.
