feel like absolute crap today. decided yesterday (spontaneously) that i wanted to get in shape again so i went to the rock climbing wall at my school’s gym, and did that for like an hour (probably only 30 ft total in my two trips up the big wall) and then walked 3 miles after doing nothing but sitting in one office chair or another every day since quarantine started pretty much. so physically not that great. and idk what is up with my head but i can’t focus and there’s an assignment that i so badly want to want to do. especially since it’s due in 2.5 hours. but i can’t bring myself to do anything. my attention span is so nonexistent that i can’t even watch tiktoks rn. just really sucks.

In the part [of the song] where I get really sad; one of the nights, at the beginning of the tour, I ended up putting my hand out and this girl wound up grabbing my hand. And then all of the sudden I started feeling all of these girls grabbing my hand and it was just this moment of — they were kind of comforting me. It’s a really emotional and vulnerable part of the song and I feel it every time I sing it. So, for them to be holding my hands was really nice and it made me feel a little better so I just started putting my hand out every night. There’s something really cool for me in that connection. Holding someone’s hand is such a personal thing and I really like that part of the show. (Taylor Swift, Journey to Fearless)
