Uhh where does this Shuro haters came from in Toshiro Nakamoto tag? The last time I check after the episode, its still kinda quiet. Guess Shuro haters will join my anti Jiang Cheng blocklist.

I wish people knew that there are characters exist to disturb your mind to increase awareness. Jiang Cheng's character highlight the negative traits in ancient Chinese culture while Toshiro Nakamoto's character highlight the negative traits in traditional Japanese culture. They are made to give moral lesson that's why I appreciate them so much. Not every character need to be likable in personality. Characters can be loved via character design, animation/the way they move, voice acting/the way they talk, character arc and character flaws as well. Just because they are flawed don't mean they are evil and its okay to demonize them.

Shuro genuinely liking Falin. Why not? That just means Falin is an attractive girl. I feel the same. I like Falin too. Its not like they are the end game? Or just because he's a threat to your ship? But if you truly believe in your ship, people like Shuro shouldn't be a threat. Its like telling me I should hate Falin or Kabru because I ship Laishuro. Shuro propose to Falin. We should remember that Toshiro is raised from traditional noble Japanese family. Usually, you will only get to know the girl once you're only engaged so dating first is possibly out of his mind. Shuro leaving the party is a betrayal? I don't think so. He just build a new party for manpower because realistically speaking, Laios group will not survive with just them. Good thing Senshi joined them and Laios meet new people to broaden his horizon. Isn't that a good thing that he learned to eat monster because he met Senshi? Life is like that. People leave because there's new people to form connection with. Shuro hates Laios. I think its more envy and annoyed tbh but not hate. Plus Toshiro was tired so he's not in the right mind. He shouldn't gave the bell to Laios if he hated him that much to the point of wishing him to die. Hate is a strong word.

Honestly though, thank you anon for making me remember that that whole confrontation happened when Shuro was literally running on fumes. This man had not taken any breaks except the absolute bare minimum required to survive; he was hungry, sleep deprived, and probably suffering from a major adrenaline crash the moment he realized that he wouldn't be able to save Falin and that he had no goal to keep moving towards.

Like everyone who thinks that Shuro genuinely hates Laios, instead of just being frustrated with him, needs to remember how they feel about their loved ones after skipping a meal or two lmao
