Happiness is real when shared! And 2018 proved to be the year for making the loved ones share their destiny with each other! A socially and ritually recognised union of two in-love people with the blessings of their close and loved ones is what everyone wishes for! This year there were a lot of couples in Bollywood who found their better halves and promised each other to love, support & stand by each other! Let’s give a look at some of the most talked and the Biggest Celebrity Weddings in 2018!

Mohit Marwah and Antara Motiwala

Among one of the most famous marriages was of Mohit Marwah, Raag Desh actor, and Antara Motiwala, a celebrity stylist. Mohit tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Antara in a resort in UAE. Mohit is the eldest son of Boney, Anil, Sanjay Kapoor’s sister Reena and hence the whole Kapoor clan got together for the lavish ceremonies. This wedlock also gained limelight as the super beautiful and a mesmerising beauty of Bollywood in essence Shridevi was lost by Bollywood in Dubai where she went for attending Mohit’s marriage and that was the last public appearance of our Chandni!

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja

Veere di weeding actor, Sonam Kapoor, tied knot with her longtime BAE Anand Ahuja was one of the biggest weddings of the year 2018. A pure starry sangeet, close-knit Anand-Karaj wedding ceremony and fun & enthralling reception made the social media lightning on and around May 8th. Just after her marriage, Sonam walked down for Cannes red carpet on May 14 & 15.

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi

Miss India 2002, Neha Dhupia, got hitched to Angad Bedi, actor, in May just after the opulent celebrations of Sonam Kapoor’s marriage in Gurudwara in New Delhi in a silent ceremony. Though! It’s very rare to see a celeb getting married in Gurudwara by performing such a big day of their life in a sober and silent function.She announced her marriage as her best decision on Twitter and Instagram. She also gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this year whom she named Meher Dhupia Bedi.

And finally the reel Khilji found his real Rani Padmavati! One of the most adored couples who complement each other in the most eye-pleasing manner, after dating for 6 long years, officially accepted each other as life partners in Italy in a luxurious villa at Lake Como. Their wedding is one example of what we call “A big, fat Bollywood wedding”! All their nuptials, from sangeet to Konkani weeding and finally Sindhi ceremonies were destined at Lake Como. And finally, they threw 2 lavish receptions, one in Bangaluru in Deepika’s hometown and another for Bollywood biggest superstars in Mumbai.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

Our Desi Girl found love in Vedesi Boy and tied the knot with multi-cultural functions in Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. The best part of their marriage was that even after finding love outside India, Priyanka globally showcased our Indian culture by getting married and performing all rituals and ceremonies in India. She got all her and Nicks’s friends & relatives including her sister-in-law, Sophie Turner who got engaged to Joe Jonas(Nick’s elder brother) to India for their big day celebration. Nickyanka’s, as they are called now, weeding was one of the most Googled weddings of the year. They followed both Hindu and Christian rituals which included 75-foot wedding veil worn by our Miss world 2000. Followed to their wedding were 3 receptions, one in Delhi which saw Prime Minister Modi Ji.

Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal

After star-studded weddings, was the wedding of the heiress of one of the wealthiest families in the world. The Ambanis hosted their pre-wedding celebrations at Oberoi Udaivilas hotel in Udaipur which included a private performance of Beyonce, Badshah with his Begum( SRK n Gauri), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan and Karan Johar. The couple tied the knot at Ambani’s Antilia and threw grand receptions.

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength while loving someone deeply gives you courage. And when destination to your love is staying forever together, nothing more beautiful can happen. 2018 gave us the most memorable Bollywood weddings and least I can say is Let Love Prevail!
