Generation 5: Halloween
This sim was never really close to their parents, so they got really into spooky stuff since they were a little kid and always dreamt to be a vampire. So, when they grow up they turn into a vampire and try to be the best vampire ever. They can get married and have as many kids as you want. Since they are a vampire, the next generation starts when they are young adults.

Holidays legacy challenge: updated - part 1
I'm updating while I'm playing and seeing what it works and what doesn't.

This challenge is a legacy one based on the idea that each generation represents a holiday in The Sims 4. You have to start with 2000 simoleons and in whatever lot you want, since you can change the lot for each heir if you want to suit their holiday or personality better. You don't have to make the sims and neither the house completely related to their holiday, but it's nice if you use some colors or decorations that remind you which holiday the sim represents.
General rules:
Don’t use cheats to have more money. And also don’t cheat skills and careers.
But you are allowed to cheat to have more or less kids and to choose the gender of the kid, if you want to.
Complete the aspiration or get at the top of the career for each generation.
You wait the next Gen to be young adults to begin their Gen
You don't have to stay in the same household of the last Gen
You can skip baby phase if you want to (I will not tell anyone)

Generation 1: Love day
Let’s start with love! This sim really likes to go on dates (preferably with different people). So, this generation doesn't get married. They can have as many kids as you want, but it would be fun if their kids have different mothers or fathers.
Aspiration: serial romantic
Traits: romantic, self-absorbed, outgoing
Career: Painter
Generation 2: Harvest fest
This sim completely loves food and family! They love to stay close to the family and celebrate as much as they can. This sim grew without a traditional family, because of that they have to get married and stay with the same husband/wife for the rest of their life and have to have 3 or more kids.
Aspiration: Master Chef
Traits: gluton, family oriented, lazy
Career: Culinary (Chef branch)
Since it's the Harvest fest one, the sim should have a garden with some crops.
[Dine out]: You can have a family restaurant instead of the career, if you want to.
[Cottage living]: You can have a farm

The Sims 4: New Game Patch (May 13th, 2021)
There’s a new Sims 4 update available for PC/Mac and Consoles.
PC: 1.74.59.1030 / Mac: 1.74.59.1230 / Console: Version 1.41.

What’s New?
As you may have seen revealed in our past Sims 411 Livestream, we added in this update a few new Asian Eye Presets for Female and Male Frames. You can find these in Create A Sim and we hope you love them! In case you missed the Livestream, I have applied my nonexistent photoshop skills and have added them in these patch notes for your enjoyment. See below for maximum visuals!
Besides adding these presets we also have updated two hairstyles from our Base Game.
Firstly, we have the gorgeous Hair_MedTexCurls or as we have named it in our Sims 411 blog post, the “Retro Style Large Afro”. Beautiful! I added a few screenshots on how it looks with Female and Male Frames, and Adults, Children, and Toddlers.
Secondly, we have the fab Hair_EF13AfroShort or as we called it the “Short Afro.” I have added below some screenshots with Female and Male Frames – Adults, Children, and Toddlers as well for your reference. I want to note that we noticed that this particular hairstyle with the Black Color Swatch looks a bit Grey in the screencaps below, but we can tell you that we have fixed it already for a future update.
Now onto the fixes…
Bug Fixes
Sims 4
We fixed an issue with two of our facial hair offerings, the ymFacialHair_BeardThinGoatee, and ymFacialHair_ChinStrap, as they were making Sims faces wider when applied.
The Voodoo Doll’s thumbnail in Sims’ Inventories has been fixed so it doesn’t change appearance when used, as it should not.
Simmers in Laptop Mode will no longer see glitch textures when the Easel is placed on the Lot. It was like a glitch in the Matrix, just… visually striking.
Get Famous
Sims that saw their Transfer Videos to The More Views Video Station interaction drop from the queue while doing other things will no longer have this occur. Because what is technology but helpful? And why shouldn’t Sims shower and transfer their drone footage whenever they want to amirite?
Vampires
Vampire Sims will no longer be forever Compelled for a Deep Drink. As much as that sometimes might be what Vampire Sims would be compelled to do, they don’t have to. So it is not something that they probably want to have in their interaction queue forever and all time. Forever is a long time…
Country Kitchen
The Country Charm Counter will now look correct when getting dirty, and not quite like… it has been taken out of a post apocalyptic movie set. There is a fine line between dirty, and… well, unrecognizable.
