Del Taco Restaurants, Inc. Retains The Cypress Group to Lead Refranchising of Four Non-Core Western Markets
Lake Forest, CA  (RestaurantNews.com)  Del Taco Restaurants, Inc. Pie Five Signs First Franchise Agreement In Oregon
Fast-casual pizza brand bringing fresh ingredients and custom pizzas to Corvallis

Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Reservations for General Public Completely Booked On Day of Release
Today was the BIG day that a LOT of people had marked on their calendar, as it delivered the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservations to the general public.

Just as a quick refresher, no-cost reservations (along with valid theme park admission) are required to enter Galaxy’s Edge in its opening weeks from May 31 – June 23, 2019. From June 24th onward, a reservation will no longer be required. But back to the task at hand…
Disney has officially announced that ALL OF THE GENERAL RESERVATIONS ALREADY BOOKED as seen on the Disneyland website. I mean, this isn’t exactly shocking, as we know how highly anticipated the new land is, but still…

  The good news is that you can still get a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation if you stay at one of the three Disneyland hotels during the required reservation time period. But, we suggest quickly booking that reservation if you plan to do so because chances are they’re filling up fast since it’ll be guests only hope to enter the land in the opening weeks!

Sneak Peek! May the 4th Merchandise Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs
In just a couple of days, you’ll be hearing this now-familiar Star Wars fan greeting: “May the 4th Be With You!”

What’s now become known as “Star Wars Day” is quickly approaching. And to celebrate the occasion, Walt Disney World will be releasing a few pieces of limited time merchandise!
The May the 4th merchandise will include a Star Wars T-shirt, drinkware and pins.

This merchandise will be available on May 4th while supplies last (which means it’s best to act fast). You’ll be able to find it at Tatooine Traders, the Star Wars Launch Bay and Mickey’s of Hollywood merchandise shops in Hollywood Studios. The merchandise can also be purchased at Disney Springs at the Star Wars Galactic Outpost and Star Wars Trading Post.

NEW and Returning Star Wars Treats and Collectibles at Disneyland THIS WEEKEND ONLY!
It’s Star Wars everything at Disneyland Park these days with Galaxy’s Edge set to open in just a few weeks, but if you’re in the park this weekend — May 4-5 — you’re in for a treat! Disneyland’s Tomorrowland will be alive with loads of May the 4th merchandise, ride enhancements, and food and drink! And we’ve got a sneak peek of those beverages and bites thanks to the Disney Parks Blog!

Joining the battle for your taste buds: Lightsaber Churros! We’ve seen these at Disneyland before (they were on hand to celebrate Star Wars’ 40th anniversary in 2017!), and they’re a current treat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the 30th anniversary. These are standard churros dusted with bright blue or bright red sugar, and you’ll choose your churro Dark or Light Side at the cart near Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters!

Over at Galactic Grill, choose from the Dark Side Chicken Sandwich (with Asian sweet chili sauce!), Loaded Fleet Fries (with bulgogi shredded pork!), or a Chili Cheese Burger!

You’re going to want to stop into Galactic Grill even if you’re not hungry because this counter service spot also has two themed, non-alcoholic drinks: a granny smith-flavored slush called Padawan Punch and watermelon-flavored slush called Rogue Slush. SPOTTED: Another Piece Of Hollywood Studios 30th Anniversary Merchandise
Yesterday was Hollywood Studios’ 30th Anniversary and guys…it was CRAZY! We reviewed SO MANY awesome treats like the Kylo Ren Cupcake and the Sorcerer’s Hat 30th Anniversary Treat that we’re still full today!

But treats aren’t the only things that are released when Disney is celebrating something big — new merchandise is often released as well. And we KNOW that many of you waited hours in line to get your hands on limited edition 30th Anniversary merchandise yesterday, and we KNOW that a lot of it SOLD OUT. So, we thought we’d tell you about another piece of Hollywood Studios Anniversary merchandise we found!
Disney and Pandora have teamed up to create a Hollywood Studios 30th Anniversary charm! And you’ll never guess where we found it…

We actually spotted the new charm at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom!
It’s a lovely Sorcerer hat blue and has the Hollywood Studios logo on it. The 30th Anniversary logo is on the other side, and the rim of the charm is covered in rhinestones!
