I think the thing that makes Eobard Thawne stand out so much as a villain is that he just spends all day, every day, hating the Flash. He has no grand master plan, no evil ideology, no end goal of any kind. He’s just this empty, rotting pit of hatred and there’s nothing else in there. He has no friends. He has no life. Even Lex Luthor has a job. Thawne has nothing but hating the Flash. He has nearly infinite godlike power and uses it specifically and solely to attack, dismantle, endanger, humiliate, and make miserable every second of every day of the Flash’s life from birth to death. He’ll kill his mother, he’ll push him down the stairs, he’ll alienate his friends, he’ll ruin his baseball game, he’ll stalk him, he’ll bully him as a child, he’ll harrass him as an adult, he’ll write him a weird text, he’ll kidnap his girlfriend, he’ll hold him up in traffic, he’ll shuffle his timeline like playing cards until he finds the perfect sequence of events to make the Flash’s life as miserable as possible, as early as possible, in every way possible, and as consistently as possible. This is the only thing he does and he has absolutely nothing else in his life. He is literally a hater, and his only motivation is to be a hater, and if he hadn’t picked the Flash to be a hater about he would be a hater about someone else. Incredible. Literally no one else is doing it like him and thank God.

I mean, back in the 1990s Lex's first response to hearing about Superman's death during his fight with Doomsday was to find the female martial arts instructor (Sasha Green) who had embarrassed him during a sparring session, strangled her to death, and then dumped her body in a landfill* just because Lex wanted to demonstrate that without Superman around he could do whatever he wanted without consequences.

So, yeah, I'd say that Lex is evil in most of his interpretations, yes.

*She got better, resurrected by aliens or something and got superpowers too into the mix. She ended up hanging around with Tommy Monaghan from Garth Ennis' Hitman book for a spell.

honestly if asgard 'discovered' jotunheim back in the day and took it over I feel like there would be some doomed arctic expedition level screw ups before they learned how to be competent in the environment. like loosing entire expeditions to arrogance, improper preparations, refusing to ask the locals anything and then accusing them of eating their teams when they loose them. just. utter disaster made by colonial arrogance. racism. general calamity. asgard has mountains but even if they get snow in the winters it seems a big difference between that and a planet made entirely of rock and ice. it is going to take some trial and error

tim as a kid was writer of 500k+ words adopted by bruce wayne self-insert fanfiction. it’s canon to ME. he didn’t post it because he found out who the bats are and obviously wrote the realization into his fic but felt it wasn’t safe to post to the internet anymore. for adopted by bruce wayne fanfiction it’s got more dick than bruce. tim feels this is fair because dick is just the best obviously. jason doesn’t exist in said fanfiction. the titans and babs (obviously) do though
