It’s kind of funny how average-sounding the names of the institute employees were. Jon, Tim, Martin, Sasha, Melanie, Basira. They all give off essence of Normal Guy.

And then there was Elias Bouchard. The most evil sounding name in fiction I’ve ever heard, and the fact that it wasn’t *immediately* clear that he was actually evil is a masterstroke from Rusty Quill.
