Hi it's missing my late dad hours so have a HC about Mikey and William. Does Mike actually hate William like he says he does? Not really? He hates what William has become. What happened to his dad? What happened to their family? Decades later and he's still trying to process the tragedy that is the Aftons. He will always tell William he hates him to his perpetual rotting bunny face nowadays, but he doesn't really mean it. He misses him. Misses their family. Misses Evan and Elizabeth. Misses what they used to be. But they can never be that again. Mike was devastated when he learned his dad was the one who killed those kids. Who killed Charlie. He's just a young man who had an actually good childhood despite what happened who's whole lease on life changed the moment he died via Scooping. And came back possessing himself. Why did this have to happen to them?
