Character design
Today in class, the teacher asked us to draw random graphics and then create characters on the graphics. The second step is to refine. Finally, I chose the characters I was happy with and drew further details. In the afternoon, we combined various objects and telephones to draw pictures, which tested imagination and drawing skills very much. Finally, we use an abstract style and colorful style to draw our characters.

Sketch
When creating the interior of the layered world, I refer to the works of Suzanne Geary, who has created a series of idealized and beautiful family scenes in her works. What I want to express is that an utopia world is just a room where people can relax, without war or worry, across all kinds of strata and barriers.

Fantasy: Realms of Imagination
In my opinion, many fantasy works tell about the utopian world that people yearn for. This utopian world is composed of natural creatures, fairies, children who will not grow up. There is no war, pollution and other practical problems, and it is full of the author's fantasy of beautiful things. This exhibition features Studio Ghibli's Princess Mononoke, It is like the contradiction and dispute between utopia and dystopia, and how these two worlds should coexist and live in harmony is the subject of everyone's life.

I love my town

On the first day of the project, my friends and I walked along the road behind the school and took some pictures of the roadside. I walked down an alley and found a pub full of old British men and women enjoying afternoon tea, drinking and watching football on TV. The waitress, a middle-aged lady, greeted us warmly and took us to the garden behind the bar where we sat and sketched.

Outcome
In my opinion, the illustrations for Tarot cards is to help the people who ask questions and people who read the card communicate, and to understand the situation of people who ask questions by means of the illustrations in Tarot cards, so as to form a bridge between two people. Every illustration in the Tarot card is useful, every detail tells you something, and even the use of color is important. For example, in the card of the high priestess I drew, the color scheme is mostly blue and purple, which represents the meaning of mystery and intuition, calm and thinking.

Magazine project- Process
Because I am interested in something related to oddities, like tarot cards reading. Also I think the illustrations in Tarot cards have a deep mystery. Every elements got different meanings.
In the process of research, I am thinking about what kind of special brush can be used on my works. I want a brush that can show the texture of watercolor.
