Explore the beauty of Bicol Region
Mesmerized the beauty of Mount Mayon.
Mayon Volcano is the most active volcano in the Philippines. Reowned for its “perfect cone” because of its symmetric conical shape. Thus the ancient Bicolanos story, it is said that the volcano grew from the burial grounds of lovers Magayon and Pangaronon, they name Magayon as a legendary princess heroine called “Daragang Magayon”. And Mount Mayon is the centerpiece of the Albay Biosphere Reserve and declared by UNESCO and currently nominated as world heritage site.
Let’s do a walkaton at Quitinday Chocolate Hills
Who doesn’t familiar what is chocolate hills is? Well chocolate hills are also the famous tourist attraction in Cebu region. But here is albay they have man-made chocolate hills they called this Quitinday green hills formation. This is a short walk from the ground, past the gentle slopes and through the four peaks. At the top is a panoramic view of vast hilly terrain. Their forms vary, and while not as conical and symmetrical. Quitinday chocolate hills deck is man-made, visitor got the summit for viewing, carpets of smooth, rolling curves and a sunrise trek make it possible to see the volcano in its full grandeur.
Lets get wet and swim with butanding at Matnog Sorsogon
Other Bicol destination are relatively untapped due to proximity to the main tourist attractions in their area. Next Destination Matnog, Sorsogon (Juag Lagoon Marine Sanctuary) . These sanctuary visitors are allowing to swim with fish and feed them. This sanctuary is built for the preservation of local marine species and open to public for education and enjoyment. Snorkeling is the one of the best water activity here because you can experience swimming with big gentle giant which is butanding and take some pictures.

Bicol is not only known for their best tourist attraction but with their delicacies and home of “Siling Labuyo” and “Uragon”. For the root word URAG, meaning Libido or sexual drive but over the years, the meaning has changed to encompass daring and greatness. Well Bicol is very popular and the home of spicy food that is what we call “Bicol Express”. Bicol express is one of the most popular dished in bicol, because of its distinct flavor and the spiciness in each meat and you will felt the hotness of red labuyo.
Spending quality time with family at Tinambac Island
Have you ever heard tinambac island? Way back at February 2017 they celebrated the feast of St. Pascual Baylon, I saw how prosper the island was and I witnessed their beautiful parade which highlighted their main products and main source of income like boat, espada fish and dried fish. This island has a white sand and clear blue sea water.
