             Cassie, just barely, held back her sarcastic comment. Her expression fell serious, thin arms crossing across her chest. “Did I do something to piss you off?” she asks. This had to to a punishment of some kind. Children were always the hardest for her to reap.

     gaze settled on the other, watching the ABRUPT shift in demeanor, the reaper’s expression pinched serious. “--you didn’t, no. it’s just an assignment and you were specifically chosen.” the angel knew that she did not handle the deaths of children well, and he was here to OVERSEE her reaping; after all, those who struggled often fell behind on their quota, and azrael could not have that.
