I have made depressing discoveries.

So we all know “To storm or to fire the world must fall” right? And how its either Jason or Leo dies. Its the same thing with relationships. Once Leo gets a girlfriend, Jasons relationship falls apart. Once Leo comes back from the dead, Jason dies.

Their story starts off with Jason being everything Leo wishes he was, to ending with Leo having everything Jason had. Leo and Jason, how tragic you are.

mmmmm annabeth abandonment issues vs. jason abandonment issues. both tossed aside as children, both raised at camp, both become leaders. but annabeth got a family out of it. first she had thalia and luke. then percy and grover.

jason had reyna, for a while. had leo and piper, for a while. but ultimately jason remained alone. and while annabeth grew with her found family, jason died separated from his.

hot take (maybe)

i know many of you think percy is the gossip guy, but in the books he usually doesn’t really care about what’s going on in other people’s lives that much. he cares about his friends obviously, but he doesn’t ever give off the vibes of being someone who would enjoy gossip and drama at all. i feel like he’s the “i didn’t ask” guy. like tell me this isn’t how it would go

annabeth: oh good you’re home! how were the guys?

percy: good. i tried to teach frank to skateboard. it… it didn’t go very well. that guy is strong as fuck but he has terrible balance!

annabeth: i could have told you that. is anything new with any of them?

percy: i don’t know. not really? although when we were watching the game, chris mentioned him and clarisse broke up. it was right before halftime when-

Just saw someone ask the question of why Nico has a black CHB shirt while everyone else gets orange and thinking about this has brought me to the following headcanon:

There's shirts of all and any colours at Camp, but they just hand you an orange one when they first give you one. The only thing you have to do to get a different colour is ask.

Most campers never find out, you can just ask to get a shirt in a different colour.
