At this point I genuinely don't know if I should be proud and congratulate all the fanfic writers who just understand the characters super well and the fans who have predicted everything that has happened (which I am, you all are amazing!), or be aware of Horikoshi truly having a secret stan account and reading said fanfictions ✋😔

Hey besties what if Midoriya confessed his love for Bakugou in the letter and Bakugou tore it up without reading.

me before chp 318: when bakugo confronts deku it's going to escalate into DvK 3 in 2.7 seconds
me after chp 318: maybe,,, it won't??? maybe they'll actually talk it out for once and not rely on fighting as their mode of communication??? maybe we'll get a soft reunion with deku and class 1a and everything will be alright--
me right now:

i was just thinking and i realized that it’d be cool (and kinda funny) if bakugou didn’t immediately tear up deku’s letter and instead kept it for safe keeping for the moment he found izuku in kamino so he could read it out loud to him (kinda like what mai did to zuko at the boiling rock) in a sort of mocking way

So I was thinking, I’ve never seen a dudebro or bkdk anti /really/ criticize bakudeku. As in, just discuss their relationship objectively, maybe point out a flaw about bakudeku that will make me really make me take a step back and think. 99% of the anti bakudeku stuff I see all lead to “chapter 1”, “abuse apologists”, “they’re straight” or “deku x uraraka is canon” The few times I’ve seen people actually talk about their relationship without the homophobia and toxicity towards shippers, they’re just wrong, and can easily be disproven by a manga panel or smth. When they aren’t wrong, the stuff they point out are the “yeah that’s kinda the point, it makes their relationship complicated and interesting and I want to see them work their problems out” type of flaws. I wonder if this is a matter of me just liking bakudeku because of all its flaws, or those people really not being able to analyze them right without being toxic.

Bakugou having sensitive hands and deku massaging them/teasing him about it is the best thing that can ever happen in a bkdk fanfiction ever

every single new bit of development that we see with bakudeku is not even nuanced anymore… it’s not something that the antis can look at and continue to say “bakugou doesn’t actually care about deku. they don’t actually understand one another.” undermining their relationship by outright denying the way the two of them openly care about each other-as we’re consistently seeing at this point in the series-isn’t just misinterpreting their dynamic: it’s just… wrong. their development and mutual care for each other is so prevalent already that you’re literally going against canon by refusing to acknowledge it.

Aladdin: So what exactly happened to you guys?
Ja'far: Well, we're not 100% sure, but we've all decided it was all probably Sin's fault.
Pisti: Yep, it was all Sin.
Yamraiha: Oh, definitely.

Ja’far’s Assimilation Form
This isn’t really a long theory post, but just something that I wanted to point out. As people like @mari-m-rose pointed out, Ja’far is shown to become a monster fully for a few seconds before reverting back to human form in Snb 170.
I want to point out the shape of his “assimilated” form. Unlike Drakon’s, it doesn’t really look like a lizard of any sort. Especially from the perspective, we can tell its a HUGE monster form. He towers over Shaka and almost reaches the ceiling.
Also note the weird “hood” shape of his form. What sort of animal could this be?
Why, what else than the very thing Ja’far is based off of? :3c

Our baby’s monster form is not only based off of a snake, but rather a king cobra or any other hooded snake. What a strong boy, I’m so proud of him <3 You can also see in the panel below the shadow looks like a long figure that seems to be curling/twisting around to look at Shaka:
Also the screentones and effects when Ja’far attacks Shaka looks like the way snakes attack– in one quick, deft and powerful strike.
His eyes are also hooded like a snake’s:

Aaaaah I absolutely love that Ja’far’s assimilated form is a hooded snake though, that narrows him down to types of snakes like the king cobra or the black mamba– both of whom are venomous snakes (and two of the deadliest snakes on the planet). I wonder if this means that Ja’far has some sort of feature relating to poison too?
In the end, it’s only fitting for the High King of the Seven Seas to have the King of Snakes guarding him from danger~
