Hmmm..... How about something from that first untitled doc?

Ahh so that's my doc for all the Flower File entries. Right now there's 1 finished but not posted, 1 almost finished, and 3 that are just outlines. Here's a little preview of the rajalaskam entry I'll be posting later this month:

She tried to talk Alaska out of it, offering to buy her “one of those pumpkin spice crappuccinos or whatever” but Alaska was not having it.

Technically I was tagged by both @saiphl and @veronicasanders but since V didn't provide any questions, I'm counting these 10 for her as well 😋

1.- What’s the first thing you think about when you wake up in the morning?

- My cats are usually the first thing I think about because before I start moving I want to know how many are on the bed with me and where, so I don't accidentally hit or kick them as I work my way out of my blankets.

2.- One thing that makes you happy, one thing that gets you sad, one thing that excites you and one thing you’ll never, ever do. And Why?

- Happy: spending quality time with my closest friends.

- Sad: pretty much anything with the news, especially if its related to politics 

- Excited: going to see my favorite performers, especially if they're working together 

- What i'll never, ever do: I'll never let 2 particular people back into my life in any capacity. There's very little that someone can do to make me cut them out completely but both of these people have pushed me beyond my limit.

3.- Favorite book with author, and a quote.

- 'Deep Secret' by Diana Wynne Jones and you get a whole damn section, not a quote.

"No," she said. It was quite pleasant. It was also like running full-tilt into an iceberg. "Leave the Empire to stew, Rupert. Word's out that it's Intended to fall apart anyway. I'm on holiday. I told you."

"But you said you would in an emergency," I pleaded.

"This," said Zinka, "is not an emergency. This is you trying the kiss of life on a week-old corpse. I repeat: no."

"I can't leave a full-scale working unattended!" I more or less wailed. "Then don't," she said. "Or get someone else in. What's wrong with Stan?"

"He's dead," I said. "Dead and disembodied and in my car at this moment."

4.- If you could bring back to life one personality of any era, who would be?

- I have two answers, one is purely selfish; it'd be Diana Wynne Jones if I could talk to her and ask questions but if there were a real opportunity to do this, then I'd pick a boy I knew in high school who committed suicide. He was a personality for sure and when he was gone, it was like a light went out in our class. I don't think he realized how much he meant to everyone despite how much laughter he brought to us every day.

5.- What’s the smell that for you means childhood?

- I can't really think of one atm. Maybe the smell of the woods since I spent a lot of time in/near them when I was younger.

6.- What’s your favorite place to be with yourself?

- A cute little secluded beach i know of in MD

7.- When was the last time you kissed someone?

- August 2nd. A queen of course.

8.- Your top 3 fruits in the world.

- Apples, grapes, and strawberries (because daiquiris)

9.- This is a very serious question, so please think twice before answering: What’s your favorite movie villain or horror character?

- The megalodons from the movie The Meg...but if it has to be a human villain then either Agatha Prendergast from ParaNorman or Horny the clown.

10.- Tell me a random fact about you - I'm limited ambidextrous. I can play sports with equipment for either, shoot a bow and arrow using either hand as dominant, and before my carpal tunnel got bad, i was learning bass as a rightie and guitar as a leftie. Also, to the frustration of my ice skating instructor, I spun and jumped as their equivalent of a leftie while she and her other students were righties.
