Archie took a deep breath and nodded.

He hopped behind Bob doing his best to keep up.

“Well..” Archibald began.

“..We can’t really rewind time, but.. there IS something we can do.”

"Darling? Would you consider.. going out.. dancing.. tonight?"

“Oh, that sounds lovely, dear.” Lovey said, smiling. “It would be a good thing to get out. I feel like we haven’t gone out in awhile, now. And of course, it’d be a good time to… maybe talk with you, about a few things.”

The asparagus was drawn a blank for a few minutes as he listened to the list of trying chores that Mr.Ichabezzer had been speaking about. Though he also found it slightly humorous when it came to the third task; his mother had always said if nothing else worked out, he was thin enough to be a “cracking good chimney sweep with her classic cruel chuckle.

Though it was a long list and it might take.. all day and possibly into the evening.. he did say he was going to help. And help he would.

“..W-Where do you recommend I start?” Archie asked.

"Good afternoon Mr.Ichabezzer!"

Oh great… What do you want mayor? A donation to something don’t care about? Race monster trucks to win some lousy contest? My very valuable time so we can “chitchat”? Huh?!

Archibald took a moment to gather himself and try to settle down enough to gently take the tissue from Pa before blowing his nose.. of which the sound resembled something of a fog horn.

“Thank you, Pa. And yes I know, it simply a dreadful day to think about.”

“Well, I’m not quite sure.. I was thinking about macaroni and four cheeses.” Archie contemplated for a moment.

“Though, I struggle to think of which cheeses might work well together!”

All I can remember from the scene is Archibald saying ". . . I'm done." There's the usual tremendous chaos, and then, "I'm done!" Do you recall what episode that was, by any chance? Thank you.

“I do in fact! It was the episode with.. the.. umm.. Oh yes! The world of... Humor-ation? No? Auto-mation? No..

Auto-tainment, yes! The classic, ‘I am the model of a modern major general’! I quite enjoyed that one! Though I was so out of breath at the end I simply couldn’t speak any more after. It took a few days to even have my voice back! Ohh and the set was a bit complicated! Funny about it however, was that the stairs of books were actually C-G-I, that was take after take after take of hopping up one set of stairs. Quite tiring after a while, really. Especially after Jimmy and Jerry kept dropping books on me at the rate they were coming.”

I have a cat named Lily, she’s fat and lazy and so very needy and she drools but she’s my baby and I love her. If your lap is empty it’s HER lap. And when you’re away she sleeps on the bed sprawled out like cats do best. But none the less I love her and I would do anything to keep her healthy and happy. Even if that means shaking her bowl so she can’t see the bottom of the bowl every day because she hates that.
