What if mfb was made in the 90s🤔-this is my first time ever trying to like - replicate an art style (i didnt take one 90s anime to replicate from i used many different screenshots from different animes) so idk😔90s anime is the most visually appealing sht ever to me its like my biggest inspiration even though i dont make that obvious lol. so i’ll probably make more of these in the future🙏

It was supposed to be a redraw od this scene but it doesnt really look alike (the expression) bcs i was more focused on making it look accurate lol

I watched Castle in the Sky for the first time, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a main character with more visible plot armor, nor do I think I’ve ever enjoyed plot armor more than in this movie. Pazu makes one comment about having a thick head, and from then on we’re just supposed to accept that this kid has the durability of a rubber monster truck tire, the speed of an adolescent cheetah, the strength and endurance of a professional rock climber, and the flexibility of an Olympic gymnast. And we do. Because it’s freaking fun. Pazu gets grazed by a bullet near the end of the movie and we’re like “ack! Oh no! He’s in danger! He could actually die!” and then no less than twenty seconds later a lit explosive is thrown into the tunnel he’s hiding in and he emerges with nothing more than a sooty face and a few scuff marks. By the time Muska is leveling a gun at him in the last ten minutes of the movie, you’re not convinced that the bullet wouldn’t just bounce off. It’s fantastic.

I must not mock Gen Alpha. Mocking Gen Alpha is the mind killer. Mocking Gen Alpha is the little-death that brings total generational solidarity obliteration. I will engage with Gen Alpha lovingly. I will permit them to be cringe. And when they grow up I will turn my eye to their accomplishments. Where mocking has gone there will be nothing. Only generational solidarity remains
