Kitana

Kitana leads a busy, tiring life. her idea of a perfect date night is kept simple and easy; maybe a walk in the gardens if the weather is kind enough. or just chilling together in bed with a good book if the weather is absolute shit. she's the queen's daughter, after all, she appreciates just being able to spend time with her s/o, especially if she's had a long day.

Mileena

Mileena likes to go all out if she's got the time, but if not, she likes to keep things simple. dates can either be her taking you into a very public, very busy situation like a ball or a festival, or they can be as gentle and simple as a long walk together, hand in hand. it entirely depends on how much time she's got on her hands and how much of it she can spend with you.

Sindel

very, very quiet dates. Sindel doesn't really like her love life being in the spotlight when there are more important things to worry about; she'll take you for a nice meal somewhere quiet - there's a little café in an alleyway, tucked behind a few other shops, that she often takes you to - and somewhere that she can really spend some quality time with you.

Ashrah

Ashrah doesn't really understand dates, but she knows that you like to show her all the different things on offer; museums, art galleries, restaurants, zoos, cafés, aquariums. she loves every moment of each one, but her favourite is definitely the museum; she loves how you light up when she asks you to explain something, and could listen to you talk for hours.

Tanya

Tanya doesn't really do dates, and never has. she cares, of course she does, she adores you - but dates are just one of those things. she'd prefer to bring you home some food from your favourite place, or get you a book she knows you wanted - things like that. but, occasionally, she does take you out; she likes to take you dancing, more than anything.

Li Mei

Li Mei isn't really the date type, either, but sometimes she'll offer to take you somewhere; it comes out of nowhere, a complete surprise each time, but she'll offer to take you to museums, to festivals, to sports events. she enjoys the quality time, and not having to look over her shoulder all the time, but she loves it when you get invested as much as she does.

Johnny Cage

FLASHY!!! FLASHY!!! the best restaurants, always. concert tickets to bands you've always wanted to see live, VIP included. expect a new outfit being bought for you every time. Johnny loves to spoil you, and date nights are no exception; you want to see Sabaton live? he's taking you, and after, he'll make sure that you can sleep in the backseat of his car.

Kung Lao

film nights, 100%. there is nothing that Kung Lao likes more than to either take you to the cinema for a few hours and then out for tea afterwards, or to snuggle up with you in bed and watch old films you both love with a platter of snacks. he adores film nights, and he'll take turns choosing what to watch with you. just don't watch Marley & Me with him.

Sub Zero!Kuai Liang

Kuai Liang doesn't really do the whole dating thing. he'd prefer to just sit in bed with you and read for a while, or to sit near you while you're doing something. any quality time is good for him. there'll be a rare occasion where he can take you out, but it's usually just for a few drinks and a meal - it's simple, but it's always a good time.

Scorpion!Kuai Liang

an absolute gentleman, expect the very basics in the best way. a few drinks and a meal, sure, but you can bet he's taking you somewhere that he knows does your favourite food and drinks. he might be basic, and he might not be flashy, but the dates you have with him always make you grin when you kiss him goodnight. simple, but brilliant.

Syzoth

he likes to take you out for long walks, doesn't really matter where or when; he isn't really big on dates, but he loves going for a long walk with you. just strolling hand in hand, talking about everything and nothing all the same. he just likes being around you, and he likes when you stop to pick up little snakes and arachnids, telling him all about them. it never fails to make him smile.

Kenshi Takahashi

ADORES taking you dancing. maybe it's just the closeness, maybe it's the fact that he gets to have you all to himself. but he adores taking you dancing for date nights; he always throws in dinner afterwards, too, and it's usually put on Johnny's tab. you still don't know why he lets him get away with it, but you know better than to ask. every now and then, he'll take you with him to Johnny's new films, as well.

Tomas Vrbada

he loves nothing more than to go to the zoo with you. sitting down in the picnic area and sharing drinks and bites of each other's sandwiches; it's nice for him to get away with you for a while, to just relax and enjoy being around you. trying not to laugh at people getting chased by geese. Tomas loves it when he can take you to the zoo for the day; just you and him, nothing else to worry about except seagulls stealing your crisps.

He never drinks your blood when you're around or on your period because that would just make it worse for you

Kenshi

He appreciates that you love animals but thought you had both agreed that you wouldn't bring anything wild back home. How exactly he will explain this to the hawk chilling on your sofa is beyond him as he despondently calls out your name.

"Yeah, honey?" you call back as you walk in, where both the hawk and Kenshi are glaring at each other. "Oh! This is Mr. Eagleton!" you explain, "He won't be here long". Kenshi sighs, that was exactly what you said about the raccoon that now lives in the driveway.

Takeda Takahashi

Is a huge admirer of your work and actively helps look after and rehabilitate the animals you care for. This isn't to say that the animals are always ecstatic about being rescued.

During a misguided attempt to trap a squirrel (that you had already named "Fuzz Aldrin"), you were scratched badly. Ultimately you were fine, but not before Takeda had to take you to the doctors for several weeks while you got your rabies shots. Now both of you focus on rescuing animals that don't have rabies symptoms.

Cassie Cage

Every time you bring another animal home, Cassie always says "Alright, we'll keep it, but this is the last one, okay?". And you always promise until you rescue a new animal that has such a tragic story, like the puppy that lost its leg and was living in a radioactive waste bin. And whenever you explain to Cassie, she's like "Oh my God, that's so sad! Of course, the little guy can stay with us... But no more, right?" and the cycle continues.

The semi-feral cats that hang around the Special Forces base are allowed to stay, they don't cause much trouble.

Working on Yourself

You had crept up on Gaara over time. You were a jonin, so at first you only saw Gaara when receiving or debriefing from missions. You kept things professional, of course, but you always tried to say something nice to Gaara, even if it was just a “I hope you have a wonderful day, Kazekage-sama.” He appreciated your comments, and always reciprocated your kindness by asking after you.

The two of you kept things general at first, but at one point, you mentioned how proud you were of your students for coming so far with their taijutsu, since taijutsu was your speciality.

Gaara looked up at you. “You are a taijutsu specialist?”

You nodded, studying him curiously. “Is that significant?”

“Perhaps,” Gaara said. “I have been looking for a new taijutsu coach since my previous one was stationed in the northern territories. Would you be interested in the opportunity?”

You smiled. “I would be honored.”

Gaara led you down to the bottom floor of the Kazekage Tower, where a private training field was hidden away. Once the doors closed, you engaged him in a spar. You weren’t fighting full force, you just wanted to test and see where his skills were. You could easily see he’d been trained due to his stances and how he reacted to certain moves, but there were still gaps in his stance and reaction times that needed work.

You started meeting three times a week to work on Gaara’s taijutsu. He was the best student you’d ever had. He was very attentive and a fast learner, taking your corrections without an ounce of resentment or disrespect.

Your sessions started to grow slightly longer. First five minutes, then ten minutes, then a half hour. Your conversations shifted from purely professional to more friendly, and when the two of you finally ended things for the day, Gaara always felt gloomy when he had to return to his office.

As the weeks went on, Gaara started to notice more about you. The way your nose crinkled when you laughed. The way your eyebrows pinched when he made a mistake, and the way they relaxed again once he fixed it. The sincerity in your voice when you talked to him, and the way you gave him your full attention while he spoke.

He realized that he valued your company - more than that of a ninja, but as someone precious.

And he didn’t know what to do about that.

The only people who were truly close to him were his siblings and Baki. His friends were far away and busy with their own lives, and his family were, well, family. You were the first in so long he wanted to spend time with. You were the first at all that he wanted to hold close.

But did he really deserve such a thing, he asked himself. He’d spent more than a decade trying to atone for the sins of his past, and still felt like he would never fully cleanse his soul. He’d done so much wrong by so many people. He still had so much more work to do. Things like love were out of his reach.

And yet, it didn’t stop him from cherishing the time he spent with you.

It didn’t stop his face from lighting up whenever you entered his office.

It didn’t stop him from wishing that when you corrected his stance with gentle touches that your hands would linger just a bit longer.

He wanted you so badly it burned, but he didn’t feel like he deserved you. To say he was lost was an understatement.

One day, Kankuro dropped in for a chat. Since it was almost time for you to appear, Gaara barely paid attention to his brother, glancing at the door between sentences.

Kankuro was suspicious of his behavior, but he clearly understood once you walked through the door and Gaara’s whole demeanor changed.

You spent a minute saying hello to Kankuro, catching up from when you’d been paired on a mission a while back. The whole time you talked, Gaara couldn’t tear his eyes away from you.

Kankuro watched you two with a fond smile, then asked if he could steal his brother for another minute before you started.

You agreed and told Gaara you’d meet him at the training field when he was ready.

Once you left, Kankuro raised an eyebrow at Gaara. “I see you two are getting along.”

“Of course, we’re friends, and she’s an excellent taijutsu coach.”

Kankuro scoffed. “I’m not blind, Gaara. Friends don’t look at each other like that.”

“Then you’re mistaken.”

Kankuro folded his arms. “Am I? So if I went downstairs right now and asked her on a date, you’d be ok with it?”

White hot rage shot through Gaara as he shot out of his chair.

Kankuro snorted. “Yeah, that’s what I thought. You can relax, I’m not interested in her like that.”

Gaara bowed his head. “Forgive me, Kankuro. I didn’t mean to act so rashly.”

Kankuro sighed. “I forgive you, but I still don’t see why you’re hemming and hawing about her. Just go ask her out. What’s the worst that could happen?”

“No,” Gaara said. “I have a long way to go before I’m worthy of being anything to her.”

“Gaara, you know that’s bullshit, right?”

“I don’t know what you mean.”

“Look, I know you’re all about working on yourself and atoning for your past and all that, and that’s a noble cause. But if you keep waiting until you’re done ‘working on yourself’ before you let yourself be with the person you love, you’re never gonna be with them. And they’ll find someone else who is brave enough to give them a chance to love them exactly how they already are.”

Gaara closed his eyes. “But…what if I hurt her?”

Kankuro’s gaze softened. “Is that what this is really about?”

Gaara nodded.

“Answer me this, Gaara. Do you respect her?”

“Of course I do.”

“Then you should tell her. Let her decide what she wants to do instead of making the decision for her.”

“…You’re right,” Gaara said. “When did you get so wise, Kankuro?”

Kankuro grinned. “I am your big brother, it comes with the territory.”

Gaara rolled his eyes, then excused himself and descended to the training field. He saw you going through your warmup, stretching your shoulders and legs.

He felt a bead of sweat roll down his face that had nothing to do with the desert heat.

“There you are,” you said, smiling at him. “I was starting to worry.”

“Forgive me,” Gaara said.

You waved your hand. “Are you ready to get started?”

Gaara smiled. “Actually, before we begin, there’s something I’d like to talk to you about.”

Why Do You Love Me? | Gaara X GNReader

| REQUESTED, Gaara cries, learning to accept not everyone uses him and that there are people who truly do love him

“Why do they love me?” That’s the first question that Gaara asked his brother when he’d entered the office. Kankuro had been so caught off guard that he didn’t know what to say.

“Why does… Y/N?” He tilts his head, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “I dunno, man, you’re gonna have to ask them about that. It’s not something I can really answer for them.”

Gaara simply nods and turns back to the paperwork in front of him. He didn’t really know what truly pushed the question into his head. He was remembering his childhood, trying to single out the good times, the fun, the love…

He remembers the fear, though. The fear his siblings had for him, the people he now calls his friends, and how anyone in the Sand Village looked at him, he remembers that distinctly. He remembers children being told not to go near him, that he wasn’t safe to play with.

And then he thinks of you. From the Leaf Village. You’d given up everything to come to the Sand Village to be with him. When you’d first met you hadn’t shown him fear or anger like everyone else. You’d shown confusion and compassion, even curiosity. You were intrigued by him and you found him fascinating despite the fact that he’d almost killed one of your best friends in the preliminaries in the chunin exams.

He was wary of you up until around the time he took over as the Kazekage. You often paid him and his siblings visits, bringing gifts from your own missions. It wasn’t until Kankuro pushed him to confront you that you admitted your feelings to him and he struggled to wrap his head around it. Yet, he admitted to feeling quite fond of you and was willing to try a relationship if that was what you truly wanted.

So you did.

The two of you maintained a relationship through letters for a few months until you tired of it and opted to leave behind your life, friends and family in the Leaf Village just to be closer to Gaara. The act in itself confused him. No one had ever shown him as much love as you had by giving up everything you knew. And even still, he granted you permission to act as a jonin in the Sand Village.

What bothered him after was worrying for your safety in the various missions he sent you. Logically he knew you were strong and he had nothing to worry about, but the ache in his chest would not settle until he could see you for himself, often leading to him showing up at your doorstep when you should have been sleeping. A solution you proposed to him was that the two of you should move in together, taking the next step in your relationship while allowing him to keep an eye on you and make sure you were resting and healing after missions.

That’s what made waiting for you to come home again so hard. He needed an answer to the question he’d asked his brother. He needed to know you were safe and unharmed, yet he knew you wouldn’t be home until well after midnight if everything went according to plan.

So when you finally do arrive home, imagine your surprise seeing him sitting at the kitchen table, his head on his arms seemingly asleep. You set your bag down, walking over and crouching slightly to wake him up. Your hand finds his shoulder, squeezing while your other hand finds his knee. “Gaara, my love, come on. Let’s get you into bed…” You smile softly and stand as he stirs, sitting up in the chair.

When you turn away, his hand slips around your wrist and pulls you back. “Why do you love me?” That certainly wasn’t what you were expecting to hear. “I’m a monster. I have done…” He couldn’t finish that thought. He didn’t want to hear you agree with him.

But instead, you step forward as he looks up at you, pushing his legs apart and standing between them. Your arms go around his shoulders, pulling him into your chest. You tangle your fingers in his hair, leaning down to kiss his forehead. “I love you because you make me happier than I have ever been in my whole life. What you have done while you were not yourself does not define who you are. Who you are now and what you do now, that is why I love you. When I think of being happy and my future, I do not see a future without you by my side, my love.”

At this point, you could feel his tears seeping through your shirt, your grip only tightening in realization. “When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I think of is you. I’m so happy that I get to wake up beside you, as well as go to sleep beside you. My chest feels… full when I’m with you, when I simply think of you. I love you for you. And I love you for who I am when I’m with you. I’m the best I can be because of you and because I want to make you happy.”

As he sobs quietly in your arms, you rock him, patient as always and allowing him his moment of weakness without judgement. That’s one of the reasons he loved you so. He was allowed to be weak with you without fear that he’d be judged or taken advantage of. With you and your reassurances, he knows he’ll always be loved and safe.

The Obey Me! Brothers as dogs from the shelter I work at

Inspired by this post from @iwannabehisbunny. I love working at the shelter and I want an excuse to show the doggies to you guys ^^

Also, I'm from Brazil, so some names might sound weird to u guys lol

LUCIFER = DORA

She's the leader of the group

The one who separates the fights

Will bite your ass if u don't behave

Actually very soft but has to take care of everyone else so you don't see it that much

MAMMON = ZECA

Looks silly but is actually pretty street smart

Everyone else is always annoyed at him

Eager to please, literally the first to learn every trick because he wants the attention

Gets along with almost everyone fairly quickly

LEVI = ROSINHA

Anxious bb, scared of the outside

Once went to take her for a walk, she saw a bike and did a 180º back inside

Only exception is to go to the beach, she loves the beach!!

Will do the sideways glance at you when she wants pets but is too shy to ask for some

SATAN = BELINHA

OK HEAR ME OUT... she snuck into the cat's room when we were cleaning because she liked them more than the other dogs...

That's not even a joke she was the only dog we ever allowed inside that room and she loved every second of it

Knew lots of tricks and picked up on things really fast, one of the smartest dogs there

Really proper, knew her manners, an educated girl, might I say. Got adopted fairly quicky

ASMO = MILLY

Not a dog, I am aware

A real diva, fluffiest cat there and she KNOWS IT

Doesn't like when you touch her tail, doesn't find you amusing

Starts fights for fun and then just leaves

BEEL = TOBI

Every new volunteer is afraid of him until they learn he's the softest boy

Vets' favourite, will let u do anything to him without even huffing in annoyance

Gentle giant, he's the biggest dog there and also the softest

Nibbles at your fingers sometimes when getting treats because he's so excited about food

BELPHIE = HUT

Sleeps most of the time, very lazy

Picks fights for fun and then plays the victim

Really soft and cuddly, perfect for taking naps with (yes I've slept while sitting down with him so what he's comfy)

Eats lots of grass for his stomach problems when he goes for walks, so we call him our Moo Moo

Obey Me characters and their assigned dogs!

Okay, guys, I have a cool idea! What if like as an assignment, Diavolo decided to give everyone a dog from the human world to see how well dogs from the human world could get with demons and the students were allowed to choose which dog breed they'd want it to be. The assignment was to be for a few months long.

Here are my thoughts on which dog breeds they had been assigned and how well they raised them.

Lucifer-Doberman

At first, he wanted to just use Cerberus as his dog, but it had to be a dog breed from the human world.

Obviously, he chose a big and very intimidating dog.

He received a male dog and named him Damien.

Lucifer already knew the basics of raising a dog since he is the owner of Cerberus and all.

Within the first month, Lucifer began training Damien.

By the end of that month, Damien was probably the best guard dog in the entire Devildom.

Despite being a big and scary dog, Damien was actually a big sweetheart!

He'd always follows Lucifer around and get sad when his owner wasn't around. He especially loves doing tricks for treats.

Damien is only aggressive he senses harm coming towards him or Lucifer or when he is ordered to attack.

By attack, he just chases the brothers whenever they make Lucifer mad.

When the assignment was over and the dogs were to be brought back to the human world, Lucifer immediately locked himself in his room and cranked that record player volume to 100 all while claiming he wasn't sad.

Mammon-Italian Greyhound

Tried to sell the dog not even one days after getting it

Mammon didn't know crap about human world dog breeds so he just picked a random breed not knowing anything about it. His immediate thought was 'is this a rat?'

Mammon had received a female dog and named her Jade after Lucifer caught him trying to sell her.

At first, he wanted nothing to do with Jade until out of literally nowhere she had brought him a couple of Grimm.

Suddenly he was very interested after realizing Jade had a strange habit of finding and digging up valuables. From Grimm and small jewelry to literally buried artifacts.

Nobody knows how she does it and it's concerning that they had put her in Mammon's care.

Mammon immediately started to teach Jade how to do cute tricks to random people for treats and such.

Jade was also a very energetic dog always running around and barking at almost everyone except Mammon, MC, and MC's assigned dog.

Jade loves playing with the other dogs even if it's clear that they don't want to play.

Mammon was absolutely sobbing when Jade had to go back to the human world and absolutely didn't want to let her go.

He wasn't okay for a very long time after that.

Leviathan-Newfoundland

Just like Mammon, Leviathan didn't want to do anything with a dog until he realized some dogs were specialized in swimming.

Him being very associated with the ocean was suddenly interested when he heard about the breed Newfoundland. He thought the name sounded cool and picked that in.

Probably should have done more research because he didn't realize how huge this breed was.

He received a female dog and named her Henry 4.0

Leviathan didn't know anything about dogs and boy was it so hard for him at first.

Probably had to learn by watching animes, reading mangas, and playing games about dogs NINTENDOGS.

Actually got pretty used to having a dog really quickly and enjoyed it too.

Henry 4.0 was a really chill girl and likes sleeping on top of Leviathan. Just casually crushing the boy y' know.

She really likes laying with him while he's watching anime and playing his video games.

Their favorite activities to do are taking baths, going out to swim in the nearby river, and cosplay!

Yes, you heard that right! Cosplaying is a thing they did quite often and they always dressed up as duo characters. Of course Leviathan made the cosplays from scratch.

One good thing that this assignment did was getting Leviathan out of his room for when he would take Henry 4.0 out for walks.

Whenever Leviathan got sad he'd just hug Henry 4.0 and put his head into her fur. Henry 4.0 became kind of like an emotional support animal for him.

Leviathan absolutely refused to let them take Henry 4.0 away when the assignment was over. He even tried to hide her and threatened to summon Lotan again (which he did end up doing!)

Was very much not okay after the assignment was over.

Satan-Basenji

Satan is clearly the most educated on human world dog breeds and even though he very much prefers cats over dogs, he always did like the Basenji breed.

They are known as the 'barkless' dog and even have a somewhat reputation for acting like cats.

Satan had received a male dog and named him Benjamin.

Once the assignment began he quickly began to read books about dogs.

Satan actually surprisingly liked Benjamin rather quickly despite not liking dogs all that much.

They mostly just sat down together in the library while Satan read books and Benjamin would nap.

Benjamin was a pretty active dog and liked to play with the other dogs every now and then.

But just like Satan, he got mad a lot. Whenever someone got into his personal space while he was tired he wouldn't bark at them, but he had a pretty spooky growl.

Other than that Benjamin is actually really chill.

Satan also taught Benjamin a few tricks which may or may not be targeted at Lucifer and his assigned dog, Damien.

The number of times Benjamin was seen running away from Damien and/or Lucifer with Lucifer's paperwork in his mouth was pretty impressive.

One surprise was that Benjamin and Damien got super well with each ther much to Lucifer and Satan's dismay.

Besides the antagonizing Lucifer tricks, Benjamin didn't really know any tricks other than to sit and fetch.

Just like the other brothers he was truly sad to see Benjamin go and had one last trick to play on Lucifer before the assignment ended.

Asmodeus-Samoyed

A lot of people were expecting Asmodeus to get a small dog, but he really said no❤

He already knew about all the most beautiful dog breeds from the human world and the Samoyed was absolutely elegant.

He had received a female dog and named her Opal.

He already followed a few dog pages on the internet so he had a few basics down.

You already know he's one of those absolutely extra dog owners and honestly good for both him and Opal.

He loves taking her baths and always makes sure the dog products he uses are the absolute best.

Asmodeus even bought her a gemstone collar and I'm not talking about those leather collars with those flat little slabs, I'm talking about these kinds of collars

Yes, he's that extra and no he's not ashamed.

Opal had to be the most spoiled dog in the Devildom by the end of it.

She didn't like to play all that much unless it was with Asmodeus or MC. Pretty people only.

She almost never growled ever and she would have to be really pissed if she ever did. For example, when Mammon accidentally spilled some wet dog food on her fur, she never forgave him.

As you already know, Opal got the best kind of food a dog could eat. Asmodeus being one for best self-care, he didn't want his beloved Opal eating low-grade kibble. Only the best for his little girl.

You already KNOW he dresses her up and takes her out to the club. Loves showing her off to the fans. Likes dragging MC and their assigned dog along with them just to have fun.

Do not ever pet Opal unless you have clear permission from both her and Asmodeus and also clean your hands first. Opal's fur is too delicate and beautiful to get ruined.

Whenever Asmodeus gets drunk he always hugs Opal and cries into her fluff which she doesn't mind.

Asmodeus wouldn't stop posting pictures of him and Opal on social media and even after the assignment ended he still posted older pictures of her.

Couldn't hold back the tears after Opal went back to the human world after the assignment was over. He took her on one last spa day before the day the assignment was over and gave her the best meal.

Was crying on Devilgram Live later that day.

Beelzebub-Saint Bernard

A pretty obvious one. Just like Mammon, he knew nothing about human world dog breeds and chose a Saint Bernard because Satan suggested it.

Satan purposely suggested a big dog because if it were a small one, Beel would have eaten it.

He received a female dog and named her Biscuit. The alternatives were Big Mac and Burger, but Lucifer didn't allow it.

Ome thing these two had in common was a large appetite. Beel quickly got attached to Biscuit mostly because of that.

Beel has to be supervised while feeding Biscuit her dog food cause sometimes he'll try to eat some of her food.

Biscuit loves cuddles and is a big softie just like Beel. Though she seemed to be more of a dog for Belphie since she was always tired and sleeping.

Beel never minded though and always enjoyed walking into a room and seeing Biscuit laying with Belphie and Belphie's assigned dog.

Biscuit gets along with literally everyone including the other dogs. She always lets them do whatever just as long as they aren't harming anyone.

If you do harm her owner or his family she'll go from 0 to 101 in a second. Saint Bernards actually have a very powerful bite so it's best not to piss her off.

But out of her entire time in the Devildom with the brothers, MC, and the other assigned dogs she only really actually bit someone once and it was in self-defense.

Of this assignment had taken place during the whole Belphie attic incident, Biscuit would have been a huge emotional support animal to Beel.

If it didn't take place during that time then Beel would have loved her the same way.

Whenever he would try and work out, Biscuit would always lay on him and get in the way. She's too precious.

The only workout she wouldn't interrupt with cuteness is morning walks/runs.

One problem however is how much Beel would forget to brush her and she'd leave fur absolutely everywhere.

When the assignment was over he felt like he lost a part of himself.

He woke up the morning after looking for Biscuit to take her for their morning run and remembered that the assignment was over.

Still has her collar and leash.

Sad lad hours

Belphegor-Basset Hound

Belphie definitely was one of the brothers who didn't want to do anything with dogs and in fact, he didn't even choose a dog breed so they gave him a random one for the assignment.

Clearly whoever chose the breed for him knew their breeds well because Basset Hounds are some sleepy dogs.

He received a female dog and named her Floppy. Very creative I know.

To be honest, Belphie would be the most irresponsible of the brothers when it comes to raising a dog.

Usually, he had to be reminded a lot to care for this damn dog. Whether it's be reminded to feed her or take her on walks, he's just really lazy.

At first, he didn't like Floppy at all and thought she was ugly until Beel pointed out how much they sleep together.

It was true how much they slept together, wherever Belphie was sleeping, Floppy was either on top of him or next to him.

That's when Belphie actually began to care about her and trying to take better care of her.

He'd forget a lot of the times to do things, but he was trying.

Floppy didn't know any tricks or even bother to learn any. She didn't beg for food or play with the other dogs. She never growled or barked at all either.

Someone would literally be getting stabbed in front of her and she'd yawn.

Even though Floppy never liked getting along with the other dogs, she did like to nap with Beel's assigned dog, Biscuit.

Nobody else though. Not even MC or their assigned dog.

Floppy hated going on walks and any other activity that included having to put any effort into it.

She'd just let Belphie drag her across the ground by the leash.

Belphie was the least sad when the assignment was over. He does really miss Floppy, but he knew he wasn't the best dog owner and she deserves better.

He just wishes her well and hopes she finds a better family. Oh god, he's crying now-

tl;dr: The brothers get dogs, get attached, then get really sad once the dogs are gone.

Oh lord, this took so much longer to make than I expected. Online classes haven't been nice to me. I was going to make some art for this, but this already took way longer than I expected so I'll probably save that for another time!

If anyone of you wants you can add to this by saying what your MC's assigned dog is! Anyways hope you all have a good day and maybe I'll even make a part 2 for the Undateables! ;)
