I'm free! Sort of. I have a ton of real-life things happening for the next few weeks, but I'll be back to rp between things and in the meantime. Just. Give me a couple days for the brain cells to come back, and we can plot! <3

I have a ton of muse for my DC blog @worldsfinestknights, and I'm gonna try working on continuing to split up my large multi into smaller, themed multis for my own sanity.

Things I am doing where I will be unavailable:

April 27--Commencement; I work for a university and in an office where we are responsible for helping put these things on, so. I'll be doing that all day Saturday.

May 10/11--Friend's wedding! I'm super excited. Y'all will get pics of me in my bridesmaid dress once the alterations are done and the damn thing fits me properly.

May 14 - May 22--NYC trip! I'm visiting my sister and will be mostly unavailable.

Between all of that, I do have a paper to finish and turn in by around June 10th, but I cranked out a fairly solid paper in a weekend for queer lit, so.

I will also be doing another Maine trip this summer from July 1 - July 9, and I'll have limited wifi, and then roommate and I want to do another weekend trip up to do our night sky cruise like we did last summer.

But we're in a much better spot than we have been in a long time, and I do want to come back to roleplay.

I have one paper due next Tuesday (the 23rd) and a presentation due on Monday (the 22nd), and then I have to finish my paper for the class I'm doing the presentation in; my professor is giving me an extension on that one. So. I really won't be around until at least the 24th, but even then, I need to focus more on that second paper, so please just bear with me. I'll be around for plotting and shenanigans after the semester is officially over.

So, Riona absolutely doesn't get diagnosed with ADHD until she joins the FBI in human verses. Which is hilarious to think about. And the second she gets a stimulant, she is just like "HEY WHAT THE FUCK???"

Riona + Bisexuality

So, I'm not sure if I've posted about this specifically before. But Riona's sexuality is something that she's been very sure of since she was young.

In human AUs, this is something that she recognizes due to the way she reacts to the characters in Star Trek watches with her father. The women are just as pretty as the men; she envies Captain Kirk and wants to be him when he kisses Uhura. However, Riona also knows better than to speak about this with her parents. She grew up in a very Catholic, very conservative household, and she knows that she would be thrown out almost immediately.

In faerie verses that have Riona growing up the way she would in my novel, this is much less a problem, but she also doesn't act on any kind of romantic or sexual feelings until she is out of her parents' house. Because the kind of neglect that she faces at home -- and that she's been conditioned to think she deserves -- is not one that she wants a potential partner to face. So she hides that aspect of her life from everyone for a very long time; even Aislinn never knew how bad that it was.

In combined faerie/human AUs (ie X-Men, The Boys, etc etc), she would have something more akin to the Human AUs.
