There isn’t a need for a lecture — or to bring up her cancellation policy at that. Lucius was one of the few patients that she found pleasure in assisting, even if the progress the two had been making was slow to bloom. “There’s no need to apologize,” she offers at first. Gesturing with her hand towards the patient’s chair, she closed the door behind them before making her way to her own. “If nothing’s changed, then tell me what has caused you to remain stagnant?”

Well, that had certainly been a better response than the former psychiatrist envisioned.
