meet Robice!

Robice is about about 4" cubed with three sides made of a supper soft minky fabric, three made of soft cotton flannel, and a fun space themed cotton accent fabric. Robice also has light gray felt eyes with embroidery floss border and brown button centers, a beige button nose, and a gentle felt smile.

Robice's accents are a discreet upper corner patch on one side, one inner ear, and one back foot.

meet Milldorge!

Milldorge is about about 4" cubed with three sides made of a supper soft minky fabric, three made of soft cotton flannel, and a fun space themed cotton accent fabric. Milldorge also has light teal felt eyes with brown button centers, a pink embroidery floss nose, and felt smile.

Milldorge's accents are a bold circular spot on one side, one front foot, and the tip of the tail.

meet Henaret!

Henaret is about about 4" cubed with three sides made of a supper soft minky fabric, three made of soft cotton flannel, and constrasting dark red cotton accent fabric with triangle designs. Henarett also has bright green felt eyes with beige button centers, a pink embroidery floss nose, and felt smile.

Henaret's accents are one front paw, a bold horizontal strip on one side, and the tip of the tail.

Evelbert also has light brown button eyes with golden embroidery floss border, a teal embroidery floss nose, and friendly felt smile.

Bad News :(

tl;dr: due to supplier issues I cannot make any more of any of the necklaces and what's in the shop is probably it for those exact designs forever and I am really upset about this and trying to find a magical supply of identical beads somewhere else but it's extremely unlikely. Wooden and Plastic bead fidgets are not effected!

the company that made some of the beads I use for the necklaces has gone out of business.

This effects the necklaces. I am looking for replacements but so far I am not having much luck at finding things that will work for the designs I already make. That means that there's a good chance I will not be able to make the Concentric Circle Necklace, Planet Necklace, Double Circle Necklace, Rolling Bead Necklace, or Heart Necklaces.

I will keep looking, in part because I am dependent on my Concentric Circle Necklace, so I am upset about this for everyone else and you can trust I am scrambling to find a way to keep any of the designs as a viable continuing thing cuz I get it when something is right and it helps.

Most likely though I will have to come up with new designs based on what beads I can find that may do similar, or even just new, things. Which is supposed to be fun and exciting, but I hate change. bad bad evil *tries not to melt down*

The Wooden and Plastic bead fidgets are not effected. (actually there may be new color options for the wooden ones? I...am distracted by the necklace debacle but maybe?)

so that's that. it sucks. I hate it.

Coming Soon!

I am still getting everything ready for these so they're not live in the shop yet but I am so excited I had to share a few pictures...

there are six of these going up for adoption! Each one is a soft friend. They have three plush sides and three flannel sides with individual accents and faces! They have four feet, two ears, and a tail!

I will do a more formal announcement when I get everything set for them to actually be added to the shop but I liked the silly pictures and wanted to post some now.

New Designs!

well...sort of...hahaha

I have added three new designs to the shop!

the metal rolling bead necklace which was actually available at Stimtastic for awhile.

the Spinner Heart which I made for a few giveaways but was never sold but comes in three colors

and then a metal rolling bead fidget with beads featuring a Celtic design. There's just one of these because the beads themselves make it more expensive than any of the necklaces and thus I wasn't sure if there would be any interest. If it sells, I will make more, tentatively.

Good News!

I have the family support I need to try having an etsy shop and it looks like it will work financially!

I will start working on that now, I am not sure exactly when that will go up but there will be updates here. Should be soonish. I hope.

I can say that I am keeping prices as close to the old stimtastic ones as possible and this is a thing that is happening!

hi, aukquill here. I haven’t totally figured things out yet but I am looking into offering my stuff on etsy, though that wouldn’t be until January 2022. I made this blog and a twitter in case people are interested in keeping an eye on that.

So sad to see you go but 100% your health and well-being is priority!! Just wondering if you could recommend some alternative shops that were small businesses or autistic owned etc.? You were my primary source of stun toys for years I wish you luck in everything you do, thank you so much for everything you’ve done over the years! 💕

I know there are a bunch of autistic crafters/makers on Etsy, but most of the people that I followed there have also closed down in the past year. :(
