People out here trying to get Saleos flustered by putting Kallamar in silly outfits. They don't get it. Its not the physical. Its the DEVOTION. Its the understanding that you'll do anything they ask you too. The willingness to plunge a dagger into your chest cause you were told to. To give everything because you're asked even if you know they probably wouldn't do the same. To yearn and be obsessed for your other so strongly that you'd keep their heart and ear with you at all times, but keep your distance even when they're RIGHT THERE because they ordered you to (though you still find moments to steal as many seconds of being with them as possible.) Nah son, it was never about the looks. Its the words and actions behind them. I'm sure nothing would drive Saleos more wild than simply hearing the object of his obsession mutter the words "I need you."

Can I just say I'm in love with this new development? Lamb just stuck with the two wives (gender neutral) who both want different things for them. Narinder who is working with Ratau to keep Lamb grounded to their humanity/self, and Shamura who is actively encouraging them to forsake mortality and go apeshit godmode already. All the while the Fox is in the background watching this telenovela drama go down with popcorn and hoping for the outcome they want.

(inspired heavily on Raatma vhs 94 jsjsj) my hc is that aside of being used as a weapon to burn enemies its also used in the ritual of discipleship. Only acolytes with high devotion can drink the ichor and as a result it gives them strenght and abilities to better serve their god (able to see and manipulate devotion, abilities like how the minibosses are able to shapeshift and make all those attacks).

Failure to accomplish the ritual or trying to drink the blood when unprepared ends with the follower burned by the ichor from the inside out.

Shamura is able to try it in a prev comic since they are a former god, but making them a disciple could make them recover way more me thinks
