Today marks the 84th year of the existence of the villain we know as the Joker, who first appeared in the debut issue of the comic book Batman on April 25, 1940.

His nemesis, Batman, appeared almost an exact year before in Detective Comics #27 on March 30, 1939.

This means that today is also technically Batjokes Day. Shout out to Bob Kane and Bill Finger for creating the most beautiful and complicated enemies to lovers couple of all time. 🖤💚🦇🃏💚🖤

I'm so tired of people saying that the Joker wanted Batman dead in the golden age He just wanted to murder Batman and get rid of him. There was no cat and mouse game. They've changed the Joker theses days. Did you even read the golden age comics? Because I can tell you I read the first issue up to the four hundred issue, and lemme tell you it was the hardest thing I ever challenge myself to do. The golden age comics has like three or four comics in one book, so I only could do ten to fifteen a day, but I did it on my break days, when I was free. It took a while, but I did it. The point is did you really read the golden age?

Yeah, you can clearly see there's already a cat and mouse thing going on. I don't need to go into detail here's the proof. I don't think people comprehend how far this relationship goes back in a sense of how they're with each other. Batman and Joker has always had a complicated relationship. They always had a cat and mouse game going on between them. They have always been dancing. I am a big fan of the golden age comics as well. I love how humorous they were back then. I love Batman in the golden age comics but I love him even more in the newer comics, but not all of them.

And this isn't one issue. You know the thing I get bother about? When someone shows me three or four issues of something they claim the character do? When there is hundreds of comics to prove he's not that way at all, so which am I going to believe? The one that's more accurate because there's is a lot more comics that prove otherwise to what you are trying to rest your case with you see? so the three or four issues you send me is irrelevant. It's not useful.

New headcanon: Batman just straight up makes out with Joker when the fight is getting to tiring and he sees no other options. Joker's response is usually a system shutdown so it's all good but if he actually stays awake and kisses back that's where the REAL trouble starts
